About this product
This wire shower basket sticks straight to your tiles with a suction cup - no drilling, no holes, no hassle. It's brilliant for rental properties or anywhere you can't put screws in the wall, and it gives your shampoo, soap and shower bits an instant home. Just push it on and twist to lock it in place, and you're sorted. The black wire design looks smart without fuss, and it holds up to 5kg so there's plenty of room for your everyday essentials.
The basket lifts away easily if you need to reposition it or give it a clean, and the suction works on smooth, glossy tiles. It won't stick to matte surfaces, so check your tiles first. There's a one-year guarantee included, and it arrives ready to fit in seconds. Simple, practical storage that does exactly what you need without making a mark on your walls.

Customers Say
Strong suction works well on smooth tiles, holds heavy items, easy to assemble, looks good and sturdy. Some struggle with sticking to textured or matte tiles; suction cups tricky to fit initially.

Good Product
I have a very small shower so needed something small. This is great. Had the usual problems getting it to stick initially but once I got it, it stayed put. Been on over a week now and no movement. Very pleased. Looks good and feels sturdy.

Good value and design.
Good adhesion. It took me a while to learn that I had to completely unscrew the suction cups to insert into the back of the basket, as my old basket slotted over the cups.

Puzzling design
Puzzling construction, the supporting parts don’t seem long enough. 4 of us have tried to make this work with no success. Sadly too much hassle to return as with my son in London.

Very happy
Excellent quality product. Some of the reviews say this doesn't stick to the tiles, the key is to clean the tiles first and screw the plastic holder cups firmly as per instructions. It's stuck fast for me anyway.

Hello Mrs P,
The supplier has advised the following for the Suction Cup Wire Shower Basket - Black:
We cannot give an exact answer as to why you’re having this issue without being able to see the finish of the wall (e.g. tile) and type of wall you’re fixing it to.
We can confirm though that this suction cup shower basket is not suitable for screwing onto a wall, regardless of wall type. The supplier does advise of this too: “Please try to clean the wall and keep the wall dry before fixing it on the wall, also, max 1kg loading for it”.
Thank you for using Q&A.

Hi Ada
Argos Home Suction Cup Wire Shower Basket – Black
This is secured with suction cups so although sturdy enough to hold the shelf in place will be easy to remove when needed.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi there,
Sorry to hear this. If you believe the item to be faulty regarding the suction pads I advise popping it in to a local branch to be inspected.
Thanks for using Q&A.
You need to unscrew the top of the suction pad and inside there is a slot for the basket to sit in. You can then screw back on the top part when its in place.
