Purée to perfection
I purchased this kitchen appliance because both my wife and I suffer from arthritis, which makes grating cheese and chopping vegetables challenging. This device allows us to grate cheese and chop vegetables effortlessly, and it also functions as a purée maker, adding to its versatility. It grates and chops very effectively, and we both agreed that we should have bought it much earlier, as it has significantly eased our meal preparation. It has become our most frequently used item in the kitchen. Its multiple IQ Settings are quite useful for different tasks. While it can be used to blend ingredients, I find that blending is its weakest point. Additionally, cleaning the device can be somewhat tedious, but with experience, it becomes easier. Overall, I highly recommend this appliance to anyone looking to simplify their cooking process, especially those with mobility issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall very good powerful product but the bowl is difficult to scrape out as it has lots of grooves where the food gets stuck. It grates and slices very well with hardly any waste. The automatic functions work well or you have the manual option for longer processing. I. Chose this machine because I didn't want lots of accessories, just a good basic food processor.

This blender is not suitable for mincing meat.
This blender does not come equipped with an attachment specialised for cutting fries.
Yes, the BN650UK can make hummus. Fit the chopping blade in the 2.1 L bowl, add your ingredients with enough liquid to reach at least the Min line, then run Puree until smooth, scraping the bowl as needed. Add a little extra liquid if the mixture is too thick. Do not process hot ingredients.
The BN650UK is strictly a food processor with Auto-iQ presets. It ships with the 2.1 L processor bowl, chopping and dough blades plus the slicing/grating disc; it does not include a blender jug or blender blade and cannot be used as a blender.
