Great treadmill
This is a great treadmill, was easy to put together, I managed this by myself with little trouble. Build quality overall is very sturdy and it’s so easy to fold up out of the way. Only minor point the main screen section feels a bit flimsy and need to be careful putting it on. The speakers aren’t the best either. But overall very happy with this purchase.

Excellent machine for a heavier chap!
I purchased this particular treadmill as it has a relevant weight capacity for myself. It’s been used every day since I purchased it, mainly by my wife who likes to do a quick 5k run in the morning's. Even my son a gaming 17 year old has been seen walking a few kilometres on it! I also have now done a few km, and found the machine to be near perfect. It is heavy, and once assembled not too easy to move about so pick your spot carefully before assembling. The programs are good, but the display shows the km covered in whole numbers and then a progress bar to the next whole number, I’d prefer at least 1 decimal place on the total distance, but it’s not a deal breaker. The running platform seems to be very well sprung, so there is no “thud” when people are using it.

Do not buy
The treadmill speed was 10% slower than it should be and apparently that is “within tolerances”. The incline was half as much as that should be and after the engineer claimed to have “reset” it and left hurriedly there was no noticeable improvement. Fortunately, I had kept most of the packaging, as my suspicions were raised when it didn’t clip together properly on assembly and the fan was pathetic, so I took it apart and sent it back! Painful mistake.

Argos finally sells a treadmill that works.
I brought this to replace a faulty treadmill that Argod had sold and repaired a number of times. I've had no issues with this treadmill and it feels like a gym quality treadmill.

Bit of a budget feel - but it does its job well.
I used to have a 2nd hand Argos supplied Roger Black treadmill which was old but really excellent until its motor burned out. I swapped to a gym membership for a while and used their fancy high end stuff which was great but membership was expensive and I wasn't going enough to justify the cost. Over a year I slipped into a sedentary lifestyle again and realised I was most effective with a treadmill at home so time to buy again. I'm a heavier set chap, certainly more than the 110kg advice on the budget treadmills so, I opted for this one - it was the cheapest treadmill which could cope with the extra lbs. Delivery guys sound. Followed my instructions and put the box in the garage as I asked. Struggled to unpack it on my own - it was hard work. This thing is VERY heavy. Assembly really is a two man job but I got on with it alone. 1st niggle - during unpacking I discovered Pro-fitness is an Argos brand. No particular issue I suppose, but it's supermarket beans to Heinz - you get what you pay for. There are differences in the recipe and it shows. This treadmill looks great in a laminated book of dreams but isn't so hot up close. Stickers have been applied roughly, the finish is basic, the glue fixing the touch screen panels is lifting. Assembly also doesn't provide confidence in quality. Four power coated bolts fixing each arm to the treadmill, and three fixing the control console. Everything is painted black and in a low-light restricted space area, it wasn't easy making these bolts find their rightful home. The screen connections are flimsy (but once they done their done) and the two bolts fixing the screen to the instrument panel are a nightmare to try and fix, such is the position and weight of the screen. If I had paid full price I would have felt cheated - high end gym equipment this isn't - don't let the slimline finish fool you. The buttons are a bit cheap, the digital display is a bit basic- this is basic low end stuff. However - FOUR STARS because of the BIG gain with this treadmill - it is absolutely capable of does the job it is intended for. I've been using it for about five weeks now, for three times a week. The deck is great! Long, wide and more than capable of taking my weight. The belt is thick and the build of the deck feels very robust. I have a lot of confidence in it. You can manually adjust the speed and the incline, though there are a number of presets (3,6,9 & 12 for the incline), and 4,8,12 and 16 for the speed. Everyone has different capabilities, but I find these pre-sets make me work a little harder. 12 is just beyond a comfortable run for me, making it an effort. 8 is a speed walk. Being able to switch between the two doing the C25K works well for me. There are two storage bins, both capable of taking a gym bottle of water. The Bluetooth speakers connect fine, and save having to use headphones, but speakers are a bit tinny and the volume isn't that great - it's not a deal breaker - they do the job for which they are intended. The onboard fan works, but that's about it. It's quite noisy and isn't hugely powerful - its hardly worth bothering with. In all, five weeks of regular use in, and I'm very satisfied with the product. It does it's job without bells and whistles, and it does it well.

Great gym quality treadmill
Very pleased with this treadmill. Easy to put together by myself with minimal effort and not 100’s of screws etc. it is very heavy though so will definitely need more than one person to move it. This machine is very sturdy and well made, the running surface is smooth and has fantastic cushioning for smooth running. Great choice of programmes and easy to operate. My only criticism would be that you can’t change from KM to MPH however I printed off a chart to refer to to help with this.

The product itself is great
There was quite a scratch on the left top corner and we did not see until the whole thing was put together. It is a big equipment and I don't know what to do with the scratch. Obviously, we cannot take it down and get a replacement as it is very heavy.

Great sturdy Treadmill
Bought this a month ago, easy to construct. I did it all single handed, 40 yr old strong male. Good pace, good incline features, quiet, great speakers, cushioned run deck and good size. Putting it in front of a TV so I can watch footy whilst I run!

Hi,
Thanks for your query about the Pro Fitness T3000 Folding Treadmill.
This has 18 levels of inclination as it works on percentage rather than degrees. It goes from a 0% gradient to 18% gradient in steps of 1% each. It is electronic and you can adjust whilst in use.
