Decent paper. Improperly stored
The paper was better than cheaper papers when it comes to print quality. However, upon opening the package it has been improperly stored, with around 30-50% of the sheets stained with a brown substance that seems to have been spilled on the bottom of the package and had leaked through the outer wrapping to the sheets within, resulting in having to discard half of the ream with the staining making it unsuitable for printing. The non damaged paper prints fine however. would give it 4 stars if I could use the whole ream, But when I have had to discard half or the paper its not the best deal at 2.5p per sheet compared to the 1.6p a sheet it would have cost without the damage. Not very suitable for fountain pen use due to feathering, however, the ink doesn't bleed through the paper. Seems HP have changed their process as this paper used to be quite fountain pen friendly.

The printer supports 60 to 220 g/m² paper weight. This is only 90.

Our supplier has advised that the HP Premium Printer Paper A4 90gsm 250 Sheets are designed for digital/toner/inkjet printing. This does mean that they are not tested for writing or fountain pen use so they would not recommend.
