Superb headset for gaming, movies and work!
I bought these headphones for the seamless wireless gaming sessions. The sound quality is simply amazing! The bass levels are really punchy and of high quality. The noise cancellation is extremely appreciated when gaming in loud environments such as the living room of my house. I've used these headphones for teams meetings when I'm working from home, and their signal range is truly impressive. I can move around the house and not drop the connection! The microphone suppresses all external noises so only your voice is picked up. The battery life of these headphones is really great, I can use them all day and not think about plugging them with a cable or swap the batteries with the additional ones that came inside the box. The headset is really comfortable for long gaming sessions and I don't feel any fatigue after wearing them. Having replaceable parts is greatly appreciated and the spare parts are readily available. Overall, I would highly recommend this headset to anyone that wants a premium quality headset with bass rich and high fidelity sound.

Brilliantly immersive
These headphones were received as a product test and I have been blown away by their performance. I’m in no way a hardcore gamer but I like to put myself in a quiet space to relax and game. Firstly the noise cancelling is second to none, to the point where my wife had to physically shake me to get my attention. The sound quality as with every JBL product is second to none, featuring powerful 50 mm dynamic drivers and next-gen JBL Quantum Spatial Sound for accurate audio and precise spatial awareness. Using the JBL dashboard you can customise numerous settings to increase your gaming experience. Best of all they are extremely comfortable so all day gaming is no longer as uncomfortable as it used to be . Well done JBL

Great for gaming.
The JBL Quantum 950 headphones provide brilliant audio clarity with strong bass. The mamy presets that are premade when connecting them through the quantum app help a lot when playing certain video games, and the bass boost setting is fantastic when listening to music like EDM. They fit really comfortably on the head and around the ears. The microphone quality is good and the noise cancelling works very well. Additionally, the game chat balance feature is very useful as you can change the volume difference between your voice call and video game easily whilst e.g. being in a tense situation in a game without having to go into the games' settings just to turn the volume down/up. The charging dock/audio controller is very useful for this feature. The headphones are also very useful when playing guitar as by using the aux cable that comes with them you can plug them into a guitar amp and not disturb the people around you.

Lovely product, best headphones
I bought it to my grandson, who fall in love with it as the headphones has good quality for noise cancellation , the life of the battery is long. Also he mentioned about the good quality of the sound effect he can hear every little sound, details while he is playing games.

Best headphones ive had
I’ve been really impressed with the JBL Quantum 950 since buying them. The sound is rich, punchy, and detailed, with excellent positional audio that makes footsteps and gunfire easy to place in Counter-Strike. The 50mm drivers deliver plenty of impact without losing clarity, and the 3D head tracking adds a more immersive feel in supported games. Comfort has also been a big plus: the lightweight frame, soft ear cushions, and suspended headband mean I can wear them for long sessions without discomfort. The dual-battery setup is genuinely handy, since I can swap batteries and keep going without waiting around to charge. I also like the wireless base station, which makes switching settings simple, and the microphone has been clear enough for chat and team play. They’re expensive, but as a premium gaming headset, they’ve felt worth it so far.

Great sound, long battery life, max comfort
This headset has been a welcome upgrade to my previous one and the first in a few that I've tried that feels like a worthy upgrade too. Comfort Comfort is its first selling point - the ear cushions are really soft and the added headband brings that extra level of cushioning to make long gaming sessions not feel fatiguing. I'm not sure how much I trust the long-term durability of the synthetic leather and headband, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised. The headset itself feels really sturdy whilst also feeling lightweight on the head so long gaming sessions don't get hot or uncomfortable. Sound I was hoping for a flatter response out of the box. There was too much bias in the low end and a bit muddy in the mids, but thankfully it comes with some versatile EQ software that can also be set up on your phone. It took seconds to create a profile that cleared up my mix a bit and then I started to appreciate what this headset had to offer. I mostly play competitive games (Hunt Showdown, Overwatch, Arc Raiders, etc.) that have dense mixes with lots of sounds vying for your attention. With my previous headphones, I would lose important details like footsteps or cues happening behind me but since using the Quantum 950s, I feel like I've had pinpoint accuracy with tracking where people are and that has been a game changer for getting the advantage, particularly when enemies try to flank. My previous headset claimed to have spatial audio, but the 950s feel like they're in another league in terms of positioning. The noise cancelling is quite light. It's enough to block out general background noise but not a complete deadening which I prefer as I find when ANC is too heavy, it gets more fatiguing for my ears and I like to still have awareness of what's going on around me. Battery Life The battery life is fantastic and I really appreciate JBL including two batteries so you can use the wireless dock to charge one battery whilst using the other one. They charge quickly and swapping them out only takes a few seconds - JBL claim approx. 25 hours per battery and so far that seems accurate. Xbox Series X This is no fault of JBL, but the headset isn't compatible with Xbox Series X out of the box because the console has no USB-C socket. You can buy a USB-A to USB-C adapter, or plug the headset directly into your controller. This has worked perfectly well for me, and PC or PS5 are no problem at all. The only small annoyance is if I turn the Xbox on before the headset, it doesn't auto-connect to the game audio, I have to unplug the headset cable and re-attach to get it to connect. However, I haven't yet tested if this issue still happens when connected via Bluetooth as I haven't gotten a USB-C adapter yet. Technical Issues I've had a couple of issues - one occasion where my mic stopped working until I unplugged and reattached the headset. I also had a moment where all of my audio went glitchy, and again I had to unplug and reattached the headset to fix it. Not sure if this is a headset issue or an Xbox Series X issue, but if it persists, I will be contacting JBL for advice. Conclusion Overall I'm really pleased with this headset - the spatial positioning and comfort are definitely its most praiseworthy features. I've had many great gaming sessions with it already and look forward to many more.

Very good for gaming
Look, if you’re tired of your headset dying mid-raid, the JBL Quantum 950 is basically a dream come true. The big selling point is the swappable battery system—you just pop a fresh one out of the base station and keep going. It’s "infinite" battery life in the most practical way possible. Sound-wise, it’s classic JBL: loud, punchy, and heavy on the bass. It might be a bit much if you’re a total audiophile, but for gaming, it makes explosions feel massive. The 360-degree spatial audio with head tracking is actually wild; you can genuinely hear exactly where footsteps are coming from. It’s definitely a "chonky" headset, and you’ll feel that weight after a few hours, but the headband is comfy enough that it doesn’t dig in. It’s expensive, sure, but between the ANC and the dual-wireless connection, it’s a beast of a daily driver.

Amazing Features
The headset is really good out of the box the audio interface is very user friendly as well as the gaming features it provides are very good. For example the sound could be tuned in the audio interface to cater for the specific game that you are playing varying an intense competitive fps game to a movie that you a watching. The setting up of the headset was straight forward you connect it via the dongle or connect it to a Bluetooth device like a mobile or portable device with ease. And using it for a long period of time is no issue the headband is very comfortable. Also the ANC is amazing if you have a noisy environment..

Overall Great enjoying it
I am a wide collection of headphones and recently I added the JBL Quantum 950 to my collection. Overall I like it. Knocked off 1 star, for the price it fell a bit short than my other headphones which are less expensive this one. Let me provide the EQ settings which I use daily before jumping into review These are my optimal EQ settings Story Telling/Cinematic Gaming: GOD Of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Tomb Raider etc 32 Hz = +3 dB 64 Hz = +3 dB 125 Hz = +2 dB 250 Hz = 0 dB 500 Hz = -1 dB 1 kHz = 0 dB 2 kHz = +1 dB 4 kHz = +2 dB 8 kHz = +2 dB 16 kHz = +1 dB MAIN Everyday Presets Frequency & Setting 32 Hz = +2 dB 64 Hz = +2 dB 125 Hz = +1 dB 250 Hz = 0 dB 500 Hz = 0 dB 1 kHz = +1 dB 2 kHz = +2 dB 4 kHz = +2 dB 8 kHz = +1 dB 16 kHz = 0 dB BASS - Heavy Music 32 Hz = +4 dB 64 Hz = +4 dB 125 Hz = +3 dB 250 Hz = +1 dB 500 Hz = -1 dB 1 kHz = 0 dB 2 kHz = +1 dB 4 kHz = +2 dB 8 kHz = +2 dB 16 kHz = +1 dB Music Balanced with Clear Vocal 32 Hz = +2 dB 64 Hz = +2 dB 125 Hz = +1 dB 250 Hz = 0 dB 500 Hz = 0 dB 1 kHz = +1 dB 2 kHz = +1 dB 4 kHz = +2 dB 8 kHz = +2 dB 16 kHz = +1 dB Pros Overall I really enjoy the headphones besides my other ones. I have been using it as my daily driver for few weeks now. The sound quality is great and overall the headphones are very comfortable to wear. The connectivity is straight forward. The JBL quantum engine is very easy to use and I can add profiles and EQ settings quite easily. The Mic quality is exceptional, I have tested it for my daily meetings and got feedback from my colleagues that my voice is clear and crisp and it also isolates the background noise, which is a huge plus if you are working from home. The Base station is lights up and indicates whether the battery is charged or not. You could also change the light colours. Connects easily with PS5 as well and overall sound quality is extremely well balanced. Cons - Even though the weight is evenly distributed, ear tips feel a bit fatigued if I use it for prolonged period or over 1.5 hours. - The Spatial Sound feels echoed as if I am in a hall room even tweaking the EQ settings. The Spatial options lacks how far or near the sound should be. - For the price range, the base station could have a led or an oled display to show the battery charge % and volume indicator like some other rival brands have. - PS5 Tempest 3D Audio is a hit and miss and depending on the game you are playing. Sometimes it sounds flat and sometimes exception. Overall I like the headphone with few minor bits that could have been there for a full 5 star.

Great sound, great battery, ok microphone
I bought this to replace an aging headset, the main attraction for me was the hot-swapable batteries, they are super easy to swap and takes less than 30 seconds to get another 25ish hours of battery. Sound quality is very good, and I love being able to use two devices concurrently so that when I'm not playing a competitive game I can listen to music whilst playing. My main area of complaint would be the microphone, it's great that it's removable however I'd much rather have had one that could swing out of the way and automatically mute when at the top. The general consensus of the quality of the mic is that it's good but was a noticeable drop in quality compared to my previous headset. Overall it's a pretty solid headset, that's comfortable to wear for long sessions and has a great build quality but is let down slightly by the mics performance.
