Value for money
I work outside as a gardener and the reception is pretty good considering some of the remote places I work in š

Inconsistent reception
Very inconsistent reception. The older model which I had for several years was definitely better. I would not recommend.

Great DAB+ personal radio .
Great little DAB+personal radio, really easy to setup š purchased it because a lot of radio stations are migrating to dab+ which is very annoying as old tech is obsolete. Make sure you get some compatible headphones as the lead acts and aerial to get reception. The signal will sometimes come and go, that's progress for you. The radio is a bit of a bargain though, so I bought another one.

Excellent mni-dab radio
Delighted with my new radio - ideal for me for listening to Test Match Special in the summer and Radio 3 at other times to accompany to and from work. Can also be patched into my car audio to upgrade it to DAB reception! Otherwise, depends on earphones as there is no separate speaker. Easy to set up. Excellent, friendly customer service from Josh at Majority.

Smart little radio
Excellent little radio fits nicely in a pocket or with the useful back clip. The sound quality is wonderful and it was easy to start and program the presets. Battery lasts a good 12 hours so no need to worry about it running out if you are out for the day. Very useful for the football or the Test match.

Decent little radio
I use it when walking my dog it seems to have decent reception. The signal can break up in woods and deep valleys that is not the radios fault more to do with the way digital radio works ,they don't fade and go crackly they just go dead. One of my work mates has the same radio he pointed something out to me which now bugs me. That is the back light ,it is either on or off ,it has some strange timer that switches it off for a timed period then comes on again instead of the other way round that would make more sense . Or what would be better would be a light that you can switch on/off when you want it ,I don't know something like a light switch ,I know that concept will never catch on.

I can confirm that this does not have a built in speaker, it uses the headphones as an antenna so can only be used with headphones plugged in. Not sure why some are saying it does when it definitely does not.

Hello Annie,
Majority Petersfield Go Portable DAB+/FM Pocket Radio -Black:
The Majority Petersfield Go requires wired earphones to function as its internal antenna for DAB/FM reception, so any standard wired headphones or earphones with a 3.5mm jack can be used, though better-quality earphones may improve sound clarity.

Hello Andy,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Majority Petersfield Go Portable DAB+/FM Pocket Radio -Black: Yes, this does feature a lock button.
Thank you for using Q&A.
As stated, this radio is made with a 1000 mAh battery providing 10-12h of listening - initially - and is charged through a USB-C connection. There.s several -powerbank- products, a battery to charge a device, such as this radio. There also are car adapters. Ensure USB-C. I don.t have this radio, but from owning others, it could be you can.t listen to the radio while charging, or that powerbank charging doesn.t work at all. Or that the radio.s guarantee demands using its provided charger.
