Disappointed

Sadly the Dyson V16 is not as good as my previous Dyson Manoeuvrability is not so good and requires more pushing compared to my previous model that did not require hardly any pushing This model is heavier so not so good for older folk. Suction was also better on my previous model

Great features and attachments.

The auto mode is great and the hair tool is amazing. Not had a pet for two years now and it’s managing to get pet hair out of the carpet and sofa. The battery does drain quickly depending on how often you use it. In auto mode it will only use the amount of suction needed and that lasts my three bed house.

Not great

This is my 3rd Dyson and honestly the worst, apart from the green light that shows every little dirt. The performance is not great, after 5 min of vacuuming it starts to struggle, says it's blocked even though is not. I have to put it on the highest level to work for another 5 mins ( that is not the full capacity of the battery btw). Have to clean the filter almost after every use. The small attachment that is meant for cleaning dog beds / sofa etc has even worst performance. It's impossible to clean a sofa, keeps stopping because creates a suction that still think it's blocked and stops working. Never had this issue with the previous model. I only had to clean the filter once in a while when need it and it never had stopped because of supposedly blockage issues. I guess to much tech causes more problems, way to sensitive to dirt. ANIMAL - really not meant for dogs that shed. The submarine attachment works ok, no issues there

Disappointing

Not impressed. Suction is mediocre at best, the submarine attachment is absolutely useless. Pros are - good battery life, the green light that projects from the front is good for seeing dust particles, ergonomics are classically Dyson - best looking device on the market. Lost the functional capability that one has come to expect of the brand

Very powerful and versatile. The light on the main head is very helpful in highlighting particles on the floor. The wet cleaner head works really well, my floors have never been cleaner

Bought two weeks ago,submarine head would not aligne,stay on.Received replacement went together and appeared to work ,but now will not reassemble Extremely dissappointed as happy with the rest of the product and will be asking for a refund.Really really poor.

Don’t waste your money

I’m extremely disappointed with this product. It feels poorly designed and not properly tested in real-world conditions. The vacuum tends to flick debris around rather than picking it up efficiently, meaning I have to go over the same area multiple times just to get a decent result. The main cleaner head is also surprisingly noisy, and the automatic switching between carpet and hard floor modes is unreliable. It’s often slow to respond, and at times it switches into carpet mode even when I’m using it on wooden flooring, which makes no sense and affects performance. The optional Submarine head is equally underwhelming. Instead of cleaning properly, it tends to spread dirty water across the floor, leaving visible streaks. It’s also frustrating to clean after use, and the base scratches very easily as it drags along the floor. Overall, this feels like a substandard product that doesn’t live up to expectations, especially from a brand like Dyson.

A honest Dyson review.

We have had the Dyson a few weeks now. Yes as a hoover it has great hoover/suction ability and I like the way the head has good maneuverability. However, we have found the filter system blocks very quickly and we have to clean the filter after every couple of uses which although straightforward is a pain. The hoover comes with plenty of attachments that make it a versatile tool around the house but I tried to use it to hoover the car and it just doesn't work hoover and attachments together make it to long to use effectively within a confined space. Ergonomically the hoover is pleasant to use and look at but the colored plastic marks easy and the long steel hoover pipe marks/dents easily when using under chairs, tables etc. Would i recommend it sorry no personally I dont think it was worth the money for what we paid and after only a couple of weeks it looks a couple of years old. I'm not a fan at all if however you like the Dyson name I'm sure you will like this hoover. We have had many makes and we have had Dyson before and again to my better judgement we got another and I wish we had not bought it.

Serious issues with Dyson

The submarine head does not work and despite numerous calls to Dyson and them advising they would replace the machine they are now refusing to do so. I am so disappointed in Dyson their service used to be amazing but no more. I have always been prepared to pay Dyson premium prices for good products and the peace of mind should something go wrong but no more Dyson.
