Great Value TV
I received this as a free item when purchasing an American Style Fridge Freezer. The TV is incredibly lightweight making set up and wall mounting a breeze. The menu is well laid out and easy to use. Picture and sound quality are more than adequate for the price point and the build quality fat exceeds what I'd expect at this cost. The slight gripe I would have is that some apps that I use on a fire stick like Discovery+ and Premier Sports are not available and the response to inputs on the remote control can be a little slow causing some frustration but overall this is a great piece of kit.

Not as good as I imagined.
I bought this TV several weeks ago and wanted it because it would operate just on Wi-fi but it doesn't unless you put it next to the router. I spent many hours on the phone to my network provider who demonstrated to me it was not the wi-fi in the home but the TV. It seems it has a cheap wi-fi receiver that is not man enough to pick up a signal at 4 metres away. The wooden partition wall seems to be the problem. It isn't a problem to anything else including the ring camera in my garage that is 12 metres with the signal passing through a re-inforced concrete wall and 2 partition walls in the way. It will work off my phone hot spot which I learnt from Hisense but during the test my phone was next to the TV. It will work if I move the TV into the lounge next to the router but I had to buy a cable and run it under the floor to connect the router and the TV to get it to work in the dining room where my phone, MacBook and 2 Tado radiator valves all operate fine on wi-fi. With 365 m.b.p.s, as measured with the Fast App, I would expect this.

Fantastic tv with amazing features and value
I purchased the tv a week ago and really love the features and specs of this 40” telly. Easy to use and one feature I really like is the tv turns on when set up as an alarm clock.

So far, so good
Early days yet, as we only got this yesterday, but picture and sound quality are good, and built-in Freely has plenty of channels to choose from, though the +1 channels were a bit tricky to find.

Clear sound and picture
Better picture and sound than we had with a higher priced competitor with a much larger screen size. We don't need subtitles or a sound bar anymore!

Hello Johnboy,
The supplier has advised the following for the Hisense 40 Inch 40E5QTUK Smart 4K FHD HDR QLED Freely TV: "while it may seem counterintuitive that a TV using less power (39 kWh/1000h) is rated F, and another using more power (42 kWh/1000h) is rated E, this comes down to how the EU energy label system is structured.
The energy rating is not based solely on total energy consumption, but rather on energy efficiency relative to screen size and resolution. Larger TVs are expected to consume more power, and the label takes this into account by calculating what's called the Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) , essentially measuring how efficiently the TV uses power for its display area.
In this case, although the first TV uses slightly less energy, it likely has a smaller screen, meaning its energy consumption per square inch is less efficient compared to the larger model. As a result, it receives a lower rating."
Thank you for using Q&A.
