About this product
The Argos Home Devon Double Divan Bed gives you a comfortable place to sleep, night after night. It's built around an open coil spring unit with 288 springs that deliver medium-firm support across the whole mattress. Soft polyester fillings provide cushioning, while the pinstripe damask cover adds a clean, understated look. The grey border complements the sleeping surface. The divan base supports the mattress with a sturdy two-piece design on chrome feet, giving you a stable foundation without taking up unnecessary space.
The mattress doesn't need turning, just rotate it regularly to keep the support even. The divan arrives in three parcels for easier delivery and requires minimal assembly with two people recommended. Chrome feet raise the base slightly for easier cleaning underneath. The base has no storage, keeping the design simple and straightforward. Maximum user weight is 203kg for reliable support. You can pair it with matching headboards from the Devon collection if you want to complete the setup.

I suppose the saying is true you get what you pay for…bought and delivered delivery guys were great, when we went to assemble this I noticed underneath one end is covered with material/upholstered to obviously hide the wood but the other half the wood was left bare for all to see! was too much hassle to wait for customer services/return then reorder and wait for a new one so had to pay someone to cover this up as I was worried about the wood splintering/splitting especially as this was for my grandsons room so wanted it to be safe as this is the underside of where I opted/paid extra for the storage so a bit disappointed I would add photos but it doesn’t give me the option to? maybe I should have bought a more expensive one and there would have been more attention to detail when it was being made.

Bed is quite good and solid the mattress is OK it will be OK for a while but will need to be replaced but it is quite comfy height is great as I struggle to get in and out of bed
