About this product
The Argos Home Devon Double Divan Bed provides a supportive place to rest after a long day. It's built around an open coil spring unit with 288 springs that provides a medium-firm feel for balanced support. The foam-free mattress has soft fillings that cushion the body, while the pinstripe sleeping surface and grey border add a modern touch. The divan base sits on chrome feet and comes in two pieces, so it's easier to get into your bedroom. It's a no-turn mattress, so you just rotate it regularly to even out wear over time.
The spring unit spreads support evenly across the sleeping surface, while the flat-top damask cover keeps things smooth and comfortable. The divan base adds height to the bed, making it easier to get in and out each morning. The grey fabric finish on the base is practical for daily use and suits most bedroom styles. It supports a maximum user weight of 203kg. Minimal assembly required, two people recommended to make things easier. I suppose the saying is true you get what you pay for…bought and delivered delivery guys were great, when we went to assemble this I noticed underneath one end is covered with material/upholstered to obviously hide the wood but the other half the wood was left bare for all to see! was too much hassle to wait for customer services/return then reorder and wait for a new one so had to pay someone to cover this up as I was worried about the wood splintering/splitting especially as this was for my grandsons room so wanted it to be safe as this is the underside of where I opted/paid extra for the storage so a bit disappointed I would add photos but it doesn’t give me the option to? maybe I should have bought a more expensive one and there would have been more attention to detail when it was being made.

Bed is quite good and solid the mattress is OK it will be OK for a while but will need to be replaced but it is quite comfy height is great as I struggle to get in and out of bed

Bought this bed for my teenage son and he says it is very comfortable. Plenty of storage with the sliding doors on the side which is a big bonus!

Comfortable supportive storage is good bed seems good so far is good height is fine, only issue is there are holes where the wheels or legs go and I wasn't accepting it to be there already... Normally when you buy divan bed somewhere there are no holes you have to put the holes in yourself... So that was quite a let down because I don't need or want wheels or legs. Never mind am still keeping the bed as everything else is fine... I will have to find away to block the holes.
