About this product
This advent calendar brings a daily puzzle challenge to your December countdown. Each door reveals a festive mini jigsaw that builds into greeting cards, baubles, stars, snowflakes and gifts. You can complete them day by day or set them aside for later. The puzzles range from 49 to 60 pieces, providing enough challenge to keep teens and adults engaged.

Fabulous advent calendar!
I bought this as a gift for my husband, who is very keen on jigsaw puzzles but very picky when it comes to the subject matter (likes a challenge but won't entertain those baked bean ones). The reviews for this advent calendar were really positive so I felt reasonably confident that this would be well received. And it was! The puzzles come in a few different shapes, so not all have straight edges (ticking the challenging box!), there is a wide variety of quite beautiful artwork and quality of the pieces is really excellent for the price. My husband looked forward to completing each day's puzzle! There's the option to seal the completed puzzles using the included glue to make postcards and also ribbon to hang the bauble-shaped ones but once there were all completed we broke them all up again and passed them on to my mum, who also got a lot of joy from them. I'd definitely buy another of these - fantastic value for money and offers so much more than an 'edible' advent calendar.

Great concept; beautiful product.
What a great idea. The daily jigsaws are beautiful and intricate, taking from 20 minutes to towards an hour each to complete. You can glue the pieces and make into tree decorations if you wish.

Fun and sustainable
The mini puzzles are a lovely little bit of distraction each day. The designs are not too twee and the pieces feel nice a solid; I am planning to pack them all back up tp resue next year, making it more sustainable. This of course means I an not glueing them in place, but I do wonder about the utility of the ones that make up intp a postcard, unless the idea is that they are posted in pieces for the recipent to have to solve the jigsaw to read the message, which is actually a great idea.
