Customers Say
The LG QNED87 TV impresses with its vibrant picture quality and smart features, but sound quality is often criticized as tinny. Setup can be complicated, and some users find the remote overly complex.

Much promised too little delivered.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this TV for about a month and was expecting much more from it. The picture quality is good from directly in front but the viewing angle is very limited which makes it difficult for multiple viewers to watch. The sound quality is quite poor, either weak and tinny or weak and muffled from the 20w speakers, it will almost certainly require a soundbar. It has a multitude of "bells and whistles" features but this means that simple TV viewing is made more complicated and features like the programme guide are difficult to see and often slow to respond and load, suggesting that the processor is too small for the features included. The "Magic Remote" is, like the TV, over and un necessarily complicated with too many dual use buttons which are difficult to remember. The various settings features are again complicated to access and ponderous to exit. You need to be a "tech wizard" with a lot of time to spare to own, operate and access all of the features of this Tv/remote package, if you want simple, easy to access and uncomplicated features look elsewhere.

missing a couple of simple controls.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had a 15 year old panasonic where i am a lifelong panasonic fan. very reliable products. I purchased an LG as i wanted 4 HDMI ports where panasonic could offer this on the price range i was looking for. A couple of simple things that stand out for me as practical items that this tv lacks. Dont get me wrong, the tv works perfectly but operating controls lack in certain areas. I cant get used to not having a power on/off button on the tv. i'm still in the old habit. The volume and channel buttons on the remote need to have a differnet shape to them as operating in the dark, i keep pressing the wrong buttons. I would like live tv to come on when the tv is switched on. We have played about with the settings but cannot make this happen. I have to press a couple of buttons to navigate to live tv when powered on. There is no info button on the remote for channel information. you have to through three button presses to get to that information. to get to different input resources, you have to again go through several button presses to find what you want. The remote is brilliant compared to other remotes outhere as there are not to many buttons to get lost with. abetter layout with additional couple of buttons that i have described would make the remote so much better. It is user friendly but still needs looking at. The tv overall lacks practicality. If they could address what i have highlighted then i would certainly give a 5/5. I dislike change, i know it takes time The responce of the remote is slow.

New to Smart TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful vibrant colours. Filmmaker mode is great, a huge improvement on our old standard HD TV. Takes a bit of getting used to all the controls, especially with using a set-top box for watching back recordings but it is all working fine. AI sound is very good and improved with an all-in-one soundbar, another new concept for me.

Decent but not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is clear and bright, the build quality is good. The dashboard is okay a little complicated for irregular users like our parents/babysitters. The sound seemed muffled but that might be just compared to previous TV as I don't notice it much 2 months later. Scroll wheel on remote is annoying as not everything can use it and it's too easy to activate accidentally.

Qned Evo almost rivals an Oled
Excellent picture quality that's pretty much as good as the LG Oled TV we purchased about 3 years ago (at twice the price). My only niggle is that it does look a bit misty seen from the side and I don't think the audio bass is as good but these are not deal breakers, it is an excellent TV.

Edge Lit and poor in corners
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately not quite what I was hoping. It's edge lit and very blatent in the corners of the screen, to the extent is where focus is drawn when a 'black' screen is displayed. Disappointed.

Excellent UHD TV at a mid-range price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the TV. Itβs obviously not at the level of an OLED but Iβm not that demanding when it comes to TVs. Itβs a great upgrade from my 32ββ HD TV and I get a more than decent 4K experience. It feels bigger than your typical 43ββ. The magic remote is a dream come true. The sound quality is not as good as Iβd hoped but not bad enough to dock a star. The TV also looks very very sleek and classy on my TV bench.

LG 43 QNED
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced an old LG 43β. This one seems ok but if you move to the side a small amount the picture becomes weak in colour no matter what setting. This didnβt happen on the old set. As we use it in a kitchen diner from all angles itβs a bit disappointing. The sound is not as good as the last one.
