This is an excellent TV for the price. It does everything we wanted and more. The only minor irritation is that it has voice control capabilities, but the remote supplied with the TV does not have the voice control button, so we have had to order a compatible remote from Amazon which has the missing button. Annoying.

While not Freely, if you aren't watching live TV then you can use all the smart apps over the internet. The TV doesn't need to be connected to an aerial to use this way.

Our supplier has advised that the Samsung 58 Inch UE58U8000FK Smart 4K UHD HDR LED TV is compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S22 phone via Smart View / screen mirroring. Both devices just need to be connected to the same WiFi network.
Please note that a wired USB-C to HDMI connection is not supported.
