have to start with the price—I managed to pick this up during a "red sale" for a ridiculous £386.10. For a 55-inch Samsung QLED with 4K HDR, this is hands-down the deal of the year. Usually, at this price point, you’re looking at basic LED panels, so getting the QLED color volume and the sleek Q7 design feels like a total steal. Picture Quality & Features The 4K resolution and HDR performance are stunning. The Quantum Dot technology really makes the colors pop, and the brightness levels are impressive, even in a well-lit room. The Smart TV interface (Tizen) is snappy, and it handles 4K streaming and gaming effortlessly. The Catch: Sound Quality If there is one major "con," it’s the audio. Like most ultra-slim TVs, the built-in speakers are pretty underwhelming. They lack depth and can sound a bit tinny when the action gets loud. Note: If you buy this TV, you will need to invest in a decent soundbar. The internal speakers just don't do the high-end 4K visuals justice. Verdict At the full retail price, you might be more critical, but for £386.10, it’s a no-brainer. The picture is premium, the design is beautiful, and as long as you have a soundbar to handle the audio, it’s a 10/10 experience.

This soundbar model is supplied with wall mounting hardware only and isn’t designed to attach directly to a television on its own. However, many customers successfully use a universal soundbar mounting bracket that connects to the VESA mounting points on the back of the TV. These brackets allow the soundbar to sit securely either above or below the screen, creating a clean and tidy setup without the need to drill additional holes.

"No, the Samsung 55 Inch QE55Q7FAAU Smart 4K TV cannot reach 120Hz in game mode.
The TV has a native refresh rate of 50Hz/60Hz and is equipped with HDMI 2.0 ports, rather than the HDMI 2.1 required for 4K at 120Hz gaming. It does support basic gaming features such as Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Game Mode to reduce input lag at 60Hz, but it cannot display content at 120Hz."

The Samsung 55" QE55Q7FAAU (2025 Q7F series) does not include an optical (TOSLINK/SPDIF) output, unlike some older models.
You can connect a soundbar using:
HDMI ARC/eARC – best quality and recommended option.
Bluetooth – convenient wireless option (may have slight sync delay).
HDMI audio extractor – workaround if your sound bar only supports optical.

Samsung TV Plus is available on the QE55Q7FAAU Smart TV. It’s a free, ad-supported streaming service offering live channels and on-demand content. However, you cannot record content from Samsung TV Plus using the TV’s built-in recording features. This is because streaming content is protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM), which prevents recording. Only live broadcast channels (via aerial) can be recorded using a connected USB storage device.
