I chose this because the layout was almost identical to the one that died but was pleased to note that the water/ice element was not so bulky and the lighting is very bright. Love the fact that I can get at the milk through the small door.

Ok, but external water filter, tricky to change

The installers didn’t actually install it correctly, make sure they add the blue locking clips. Also I wasn’t aware it had an external water filter, you have to pull out the unit, turn off the water supply, so the filter can be changed. We had a dripping water trap at first. Hisense suggested it wasn’t unstalled correctly, maybe a kinked line. Turns out, the installers hadn’t primed the unit by running at least 5 glasses of water through. Once this was done, it was fine. Overall, I like the fridge, but I wouldn’t buy it again due to the external filter. Only had it for 3 days, so can’t comment on the actual working of it. Hubby loves that his drink bottle fits under the tap though. He loves it.

Great value and quality

I needed a replacement for my old American fridge freezer but wanted something with proper handles. I think they work better on an American fridge freezers when the doors are fully loaded and recently my partner has has some health issues affecting her hands so an integrated handle was out of the question. Finish is the same as my old and the interior better or equivalent to other big brands at a fraction of the cost. Also glad it is not wi-fi enabled so I don't have to update software or check in and baby sit the fridge when I an out of the house.
