Not as described
I bought this specifically to display my iPhone on my TV when watching Netflix or Disney+. It doesn't work. It mirrors my phone's home screen but when Netflix or Disney+ comes on the screen goes blank. The product description says it will mirror your phone including video content. NOT TRUE! The staff in branch won't let me return it so I'm left with a useless bit of plastic and £50 out of pocket!

Looks well made
It on seems a lot of money for a short cable attached to two sockets, but it is well made, it mates with an HMDI cable, and it successfully transmits the content of the Ipad to the TV.

Apple HDMI lightning adapter works seamlessly
After the purchase of a much cheaper (non-Apple) adapter we bought this and it has worked great for our holiday. The firmware is downloaded to your device as soon as you plug it in. Nothing to do with the device but you need to be careful checking what you watch. This device is perfect for Netflix as they have withdrawn support for PCs and laptops for offline downloads. If you want to watch downloads off Sky Go for example, the Sky Go app does not support Apple devices but does support PC/laptop. Yes it is expensive relatively but it works!

Perfect
I bought it to use as alternative way to watch movies without WiFi. Works very well!

Lightning AV Adapter
Bought this so I could see the pictures from my iPhone on my Sky Glass TV as at the time Sky did not have screen mirroring. Great for viewing you photos or videos from your iPhone.

Excellent product
I bought this after purchasing a non apple version off Amazon which only did half of what I wanted it to do. Went on apple’s chat bot to o be told I needed the more expensive version of this. Umd and rd for a bit and then ordered this item . Does everything that it’s supposed to. Would definitely recommend.

Works with fiddling
I wanted this to link an iPad to the TV for viewing Netflix and iPlayer etc. For Netflix it won't work with streaming but will from a download. For iPlayer casting doesn't show subtitles but will with this adapter if you start playing before linking the adapter. So does what I want with a bit of fiddling!

Hello, from the information we have available, this Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter can also charge an iPad while connected to a screen if you connect a charge cable into the extra port on the adapter, and the other end of the charge cable into a power adapter. Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

Hello, from the information we have available, yes this Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter is compatible with the Nreal Air and Nreal Adaptor. Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
Hello silversurfer,
I can advise the following for the Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter:
Yes, this will work with all generations of the SE. In terms of cables, this will depend on if your laptop has a HDMI in port. If it does, then you will just need a HDMI cable. If it doesn't, then you will need a HDMI cable and a capture card like the elgato HD60 (x) to allow you to capture the video information on the computer.
Alternately, if you are wanting to record the screen of the phone for educational purposes, you can use the built in screen recording feature.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello, from the information we have available, yes this Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter is compatible with an iPhone SE (2nd generation) phone. You can then connect your mobile to a Laptop via a HDMI cable (sold separately). Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
