Excellent product
This fan is unbelievable for the money, I wanted one with a remote control unit so I could adjust the setting whilst I was in bed, if it got to warm I could turn it on to one of three different speed settings and also turn to oscillate, the fan is really quite and even on the fastest speed I could still get to sleep and didn't wake me up either, it also has a timer built in to the setting so you can set it going for 1/2/3/4 hours and so on, i went for the grey one, got fed up with plain old white and didn't fancy black, all in all one of the best buys I've made in a long time, highly recommend and a definite 10 out of 10

It was the first heatwave of the year (May 2026) and I needed to get a pedestal fan for my Mum's room at the care home....so I bought this one as it was mid-price so assumed it would be good.....it is amazingly good and bigger than I had anticipated - which is good! I had to assemble the bits myself (comes in a neat box which fits into the boot of a car) - but easy to assemble and good instructions and quick assembly - you can have it as a desk fan or a pedestal which is even better...keeping it in the corner of the room and it cools the whole room down, we can all feel the wind lol - the power is very good and very effective, has a timer, sleep mode, 3 different types of "wind" and is all plasticy, no metal parts, nothing getting hot so the fan can be left on for hours and hours. I originally wanted black which was out of stock, but ordered the grey which is a lovely shade of grey actually. It is remote control which I have tried out and this is very welcome indeed - it seems to I would definitely recommend this fan - hurry before it sells out

Yes, it is possible to unscrew the base & pedestal poles taking them apart for storage. Please refer to the instruction manual for the correct assembly instructions when the fan is to be used again.

yes this fan can be disassembled The base is held with a large plastic screw nut to the pole and the pole comes apart in the middle However, the top part of the pole and the head of the fan does not come apart and the fan guard, being plastic may become loose fitting if being dis assembled often
The fan is powered by a standard 3 pin uk plug it does not have an internal battery The remote is powered by 2 AAA batteries not included

Yes you CAN turn the oscillating off and have it in one set position. I have ended up buying 3 of these fans for my childrens bedrooms as they get so hot especially at night time. This fan is brilliant and even better because the price is so reasonable.

Yes it stays in one position or oscillates. Its your choice. You can control the oscillating on and off by the remote control too.
