About this product
The Habitat Chadwell Double Storage Bed Frame gives you a proper place to rest and sorts out bedroom clutter at the same time. It's a double bed with two roomy drawers built in, so spare bedding, out-of-season clothes, or extra pillows tuck away out of sight. The soft padded headboard's upholstered in a linen-look fabric that feels relaxed and modern, and it handles daily wear well. The frame sits on metal feet that lift it just slightly off the floor. Slats support your mattress evenly and let it breathe.
The two storage drawers hold 288L between them, that's plenty of space for keeping your bedroom tidy without adding extra furniture. The drawers are a generous size, so you can fit bulky items or stack folded linens neatly. The metal feet keep everything stable, and the frame's designed to support a total weight of up to 220kg. It arrives flat-packed in two boxes, and you'll want two people to put it together. Covered by a two-year guarantee on the frame and one year on the fabric.

Great bed
I bought this a couple of weeks ago for my son's room and I'm really glad I did. It looks lovely and is really good quality for the price. It took a few hours to put together but half of that time was spent on the drawer which was a bit fiddly but will holds lots of stuff. I did most of it myself but needed another person for a few bits. The slats, which I was dreading, were actually really straightforward. It is really comfortable with the new mattress I purchased. I woild definitely recommend.

It states 2 draw bed small double it came with just one draw we called customer service and they said a draw would be sent out within a week it didn’t turn up called them back and apparently the small double is only 1 drawer but I paid for what I thought had 2 drawers please habitat Argos clear this up when advertising as I need the space and have nowhere for clothes.

Very happy with my purchase
I wanted a double bed with storage drawers for my little girl - most beds now seem to be ottoman style or they are very high. Drawers are good that she can easily access her teddies safely and without my help. The bed is really easy to build. I did it alone (with a little help from my 8yr old). It looks good, sturdy and is comfortable (guess that will depend on which mattress you buy) and isn't too high - just right. Very happy with purchase

Quality of item seems fine - obviosuly too early to tell. Frame itself was easy to put together - the drawers took longer and were a bit fiddly. A few screws missing, but those were easy to locate at home
