This expansion flips Monopoly's most dreaded spaces into opportunities for mischief. Attach the Gaol and Super Gaol boards to your classic Monopoly set and suddenly being behind bars becomes a strategic advantage. Players collect Corruption cards while serving time, earning the right to bend rules, dodge fees and outwit opponents. The longer you stay locked up, the more devious your options become. It cuts game time in half without losing the property-trading tension families know. Great for players aged 8 and up who enjoy a sneaky twist on tradition.
The set includes two dice, 44 Corruption and Super Corruption cards, and board attachments that slot onto your existing game. Super Gaol raises the stakes with bigger penalties and bolder card effects. Each visit to gaol becomes a calculated risk rather than a setback. Games finish in around 40 minutes, making it easier to fit into busy schedules. This requires the classic Monopoly board to play and is sold separately. Adult supervision is recommended for younger players. Perfect for families ready to play a little dirty and rethink the rules.

Spaces that previously couldn’t be bought such as GO, and Jail, can now be bought, as well as other new opportunities such as buying abilities and more from the Sale Vault. This is perfect for any families like ours, where the youngest players sometimes get bored before the game is over.

My 9 year old son and I added the Go to Jail expansion to our Monopoly set, and it totally changes the game in the best way. The Corruption and Super Corruption cards are so much fun, he loves the idea of “getting away with mischief” and I’ll admit, it adds a sneaky little twist that keeps things exciting. The game moves faster, but still feels full of strategy. It’s been a hit during our family game nights. A great add-on if you’re looking to shake things up with some laughs and clever new rules!
