Bargain!
We got this as I was fedup of cleaning our old expensive fryer especially as only my other half likes deep fried chips! This is an ideal size for one person, and hopefully will be less hassle to clean

Fryer
Great little deep-fat fryer if you miss traditionally cooked chips etc. Only big enough for 1 or 2 servings but excellent purchase for the price.

Could be better design
Ideal for a decent portion of chips. Not tried anything else. Good idea to have the lift handles. However, the suggested temps. for different things is hardly readable and seems pointless. The dial is just white, so have used marker pen to show the indicator. The metal ring round the dial has temp. numbers in red, so small as to be useless. So I`ve found the right temp. for chips and put a black dot there. As stated, does make nice chips and after sorting the temp. out I`m happy with it and would recommend it

Hello Trev,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cookworks 1.5L Deep Fat Fryer - White: ''It is not advised to leave the oil in the deep fat fryer. It is better to remove and store the oil in an airtight container if wishing to use the oil again.
Once the oil is removed wipe down the fryer to remove residue. You do not need to do a full deep clean after every use.''

Hello Cherri,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cookworks 1.5L Deep Fat Fryer - White: This is a small 1.5L deep fat fryer, suitable for 1-2 portions.
There are maximum and minimum guidelines in the fryer for oil levels which need to be followed.
The food being cooked should be submerged in oil and should be arranged with spaces between the pieces to allow for even frying. For larger portions, the food can be cooked in batches.

The box does not state the correct information because the bowl will not come out. It is totally misleading, the instruction manual doesnt state the bowl comes out. It would make things easier if it did come out.
