Three cups is a bit optimistic. One to two is more realistic. Personally I just use it for one for myself. I think this size works better than the larger versions. Quality is good, decent price. No complaints.

Cheap & Cheerful
Tjis is a very small cafetiere, a bit smaller than I imagined. But for the price it's perfectly fine and does the job. If you drink coffee regularly and want to prepare for more than one cup, I'd definitely suggest something bigger. But only wanted this for the odd occassion we drink coffee or for travel - perfect for this.

Hi Adi,
Yes, you could use aluminium capsules in this Habitat 3 Cup Cafetiere - Black, providing you open the capsule and only use the coffee inside.
Thank you for using Q&A
I use this for grounded coffee i am sure if you pop out the coffee from the aluminium capsules it should work and filter the coffee.
If you empty the capsules into it then yes it’s fine , I’ve done this myself
This is not to brew your coffee on gas or electric cooker.
You have to add grounded loose coffee add hot water and then wait for 1mins press down and pour in a mug. Hope this helps.

HI there
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know No, definitely no.The glass is not supposed to be forced out from the plastic carrier for any purpose.
Thanks for using Argos Q & A
No. I looked at attempting to remove the glass beaker. It appears to be either clipped or glued. If you exert too much pressure on the beaker when trying to remove it, you risk breaking the beaker.
