Customers Say
Compact cafetiere ideal for single large mug of coffee. Well-made, easy to use and clean, good value for money. Not suitable if expecting 3 cups as capacity is closer to one mug.

As you would expect!
What you would expect - glass doesn’t come out of the holder - probably a good thing ! I do manage to break quite a few of these ! Nice for one mug of coffee

Coffee for me please....
Excellent cafetiere for not a lot of money. As usual the cup capacity stated is for espresso cups. The actual capacity relevant to the UK is basically one good mug. Seems well made, pours well and does what its supposed to...so all good...

Not 3 cup
Sorry but this is not what the British would class as a 3 cup cafetiere. Equates roughly to a one cup item

Hi Adi,
Yes, you could use aluminium capsules in this Habitat 3 Cup Cafetiere - Black, providing you open the capsule and only use the coffee inside.
Thank you for using Q&A
I use this for grounded coffee i am sure if you pop out the coffee from the aluminium capsules it should work and filter the coffee.
If you empty the capsules into it then yes it’s fine , I’ve done this myself
This is not to brew your coffee on gas or electric cooker.
You have to add grounded loose coffee add hot water and then wait for 1mins press down and pour in a mug. Hope this helps.

HI there
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know No, definitely no.The glass is not supposed to be forced out from the plastic carrier for any purpose.
Thanks for using Argos Q & A
No. I looked at attempting to remove the glass beaker. It appears to be either clipped or glued. If you exert too much pressure on the beaker when trying to remove it, you risk breaking the beaker.
