EXPENSIVE failure - to much touchy needed!
I bought this on Easter Monday and by Wednesday of the same week the lid catch mechanism is playing up. When you close the lid and take your hand off it invariably pops right back up, for EIGHTY POUNDS for a kitchen rubbish bin bought from ARGOS I was expecting the basic catch function to last more the 2 days!!!!!! This touch bin requires to many touches!

Honestly , I have had a brabantia bin forv24 years that I bought when I moved into my house , I also purchased a brabantia rotary clothes line at the same time , believe me when they say you get what you pay for , it is true regarding anything from this company , I have only purchased a new bin because of new kitchen the platinum is perfect fir my kitchen and sockets, delivery was perfect from argos , lovely friendly driver and the bin is beautiful.

It does but doesnt have a handle like it shows on the add . There is no where to see if this particular model has or what model comes with a handle inner bucket .

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Brabantia 30L Touch Bin - Platinum: No the inner bucket doesn’t have a handle, instead it has indents in the side to be able to lift it out of the bin.

The Brabantia 30 Litre Touch Top Bin - Matt Steel, does come with a 10 year guarantee, however only the first 12 months will be dealt with via Argos. To take advantage of the extra 9 years guarantee, you would need to register your item with the manufacturer after purchase and any faults/repairs would need to be dealt with direct with them.
