About this product
This mat keeps your floors protected from muddy shoes and wet paws without any fuss. It soaks up water brilliantly, up to four times its own weight, which makes it ideal for hallways, back doors, or anywhere that gets a lot of foot traffic. Best non slip rug.
Love the texture of this rug. Have bought several of these rugs and wouldn’t buy anything else now. Unlike most rugs that slip around on the floor, once in place these rugs stay put. Great product and not a bad price.

“ Yes, the backing is black but it should not stain the carpet. But, to be on the side of caution,if the rug had been washed I wouldn’t put a damp rug down on the carpet I would make sure its dry first. ”

I had the same problem. It does make it easier if the rug is wet as the backing becomes softer, therefore with a lot of pushing and adjusting it is possible to push it inside most washing machines. It takes me about 10 minutes to get the dry rug inside my washing machine but once the washing cycle starts the rug softens even more so it will wash it well. Hope this helps.

Without knowing the size of your washing machine it is difficult to comment. If the rug is folded twice, this may help but wetting it first should not make any real difference
