About this product
The Habitat Brooklyn Mid Sleeper and Mattress frees floor space in compact bedrooms, providing room underneath for storage, homework or a cosy hideaway. Made from solid pine with chunky top rails, the sturdy frame lasts through years of climbing, reading and sleeping. The fixed ladder fits either end. Designed for children 6, it supports up to 120kg. The included Habitat Rae Comfort mattress has 323 open coil springs, fibre filling, and a soft anti-allergy cover. It's foam- and chemical-free, helping prevent dust mites and skin irritations.
The bed comes with sprung wooden slats that support the mattress and help it breathe. There's 74.6cm of space underneath, that's enough height for a chest of drawers or a little reading nook. Wall-mounting brackets must be used to secure the frame, that's really important for safety and stability. The white finish works with most bedroom colours and styles. Self-assembly required, two people recommended, and all fixings are provided. It's covered by a two-year guarantee for lasting peace of mind.

Decent beds
Beds were ok to build, putting together the slats was tricky as had to measure between each one. So far the kids are happy with them & they are a good height for a 9 year old and 6 year old, with lots of space underneath. They are a bit creaky as mentioned in other reviews.

Lovely bed but wood very marked/chipped
My little boy absolutely loves this bed and it was easy to build. A lot of the wooden pieces are quite marked/chipped - I expected better quality. We were part way through building the bed when discovered these pieces so were unable to return product at this stage. I would check/inspect every piece of wood before constructing

Lovely mid sleeper
