About this product
The Habitat Brooklyn Mid Sleeper maximises a compact bedroom by lifting the sleep space and providing room underneath for storage, a reading corner, or a play den. Made from solid pine with chunky top rails for sturdiness, it features a fixed ladder that can be placed at either end to suit your layout. It includes a Habitat Kids Rae Comfort mattress with 323 open coil springs for firm support and a fibre layer for cushioning. The foam- and chemical-free mattress has a soft anti-allergy cover to help prevent dust mites and skin irritations.
The grey finish suits most bedroom colours. Safety rail height is 35cm to help prevent rolling out during sleep. There's 74.6cm of space between the floor and bed underside, enough room for a chest of drawers or a cosy spot underneath. Sprung wooden slats support the mattress and help it breathe. The ladder can be positioned on either side to match your room setup. Wall-mounting is required for stability; fixings and instructions are included. Suitable for ages 6 and over with a maximum user weight of 120kg. Self-assembly needed; two people recommended for easier setup.

Decent beds
Beds were ok to build, putting together the slats was tricky as had to measure between each one. So far the kids are happy with them & they are a good height for a 9 year old and 6 year old, with lots of space underneath. They are a bit creaky as mentioned in other reviews.

Lovely bed but wood very marked/chipped
My little boy absolutely loves this bed and it was easy to build. A lot of the wooden pieces are quite marked/chipped - I expected better quality. We were part way through building the bed when discovered these pieces so were unable to return product at this stage. I would check/inspect every piece of wood before constructing

Lovely mid sleeper
