wow never heard a sound systen as good as this, bass is amazing connecting simple attached to qled hisense tv works very well.

Started off great, then went downhill.
Bought to replace a 2.1.2 dolby Atmos system. Initially I was so pleased with the AX5125H in terms of sound quality and it has decent surround sound, I bought another for my bedroom TV. but although I carefully connected to my Xbox Series console to play Atmos supported games, like Cyberpunk 2077 for example. Never once heard any height related sounds like flying vehicles or explosions above my character. Then after some time, the rear speakers kept disconnecting randomly. I had to unplug from the mains socket to get them to work again. Also the Subwoofer would make a really loud deep sound out of nowhere. That was mostly when on a popular steaming site. Even when nothing was actually playing it would do it. Thought it was faulty, but both systems are doing the same thing. I did not buy them from the same retailer, or at the same time either, so unless I've been really unlucky, I'd no longer recommend these anymore, as I had been previously to friends. Such a shame, because when they do work properly, they are really impressive. Just cannot be relied upon.

Great Sound system for a great price!!
I bought this Hisense AX5125 5.1.2 sound system at the beginning of December last year. I've been really happy with it since. It has been working flawless everyday from day 1. The sound is really fulfilling and lovely for my TV room. My friends who have been been to visit me are also impressed with the sound quality and I've recommended them this system too.

Transformative audio experience for a budget price
Was previously using a stereo soundbar which sounded 'good enough' to the ears, until you listen to something you know can sound better. As someone with a large media server collection I've gained new appreciation for how high quality sound can transform the viewing experience. Whether it's hearing clear dialogue amidst action heavy scenes, the booming explosions and the bullets flying by with spatial audio in games - it all becomes a more immersive, interesting soundscape. Having the rear speakers really changes the surround effect, I often find myself turning around to see what's going on. For the price, you really aren't going to find anything close to this quality. Very happy with my purchase. Some things to note - You want to make sure you are giving the soundbar the correct and unprocessed audio codecs (dolby digital/atmos, dts etc), so make sure all your TV/Firestick settings are correct. I also installed the dolby access app on windows to allow dolby atmos spatial audio. You'll know if the soundbar is outputting the correct format because it tells you on the scrolling light up display. In short, highly recommended product!

Great buy sounds superb
I was originally looking at far more expensive sub soundbar packages but having seen many reviews this one kept coming up as a bargain buy then seeing it got a what hifi award and finding at such a good price I thought I would give it a go …. And wow so pleased I did I’ve saved an absolute fortune and I have a soundbar that I’m very very happy with… it’s got all I want looks good sounds great and more than good enough for my needs great clarity decent bass .. yes you can always get better but for me not worth spending anymore when this is more than good enough in my room and at a bargain price ..win win so thank you Hisense it’s a make I’ve not purchased from before but I will be looking at other products in the future

The rear speakers are required to create cinema surround sound, but they can be switched off if not required. It's recommended to switch off the surround setting if not using, so that no parts of audio meant for the rear speakers, is missed.

I can advise that the Hisense AX5125H uses Bluetooth to wirelessly connect its subwoofer and rear satellite speakers to the main soundbar for true surround sound, eliminating long speaker cables, though these separate components still need their own power cords.

The rear speakers for the Hisense AX5125H connect wirelessly to the soundbar but need their own power supply. They do not have to be cabled back to the main soundbar, only plugged into a wall outlet to receive power.
