We wanted 2 bins, could only get 1 and that had a broken hinge when we picked it up. Ordered 2 to a different place one of those had the other hinge broken which I got a refund before I left the shop.

Flimsy Lid
The lid broke immediately, the very first time I opened it after getting it home. I returned it for a full refund so thanks to Argos for the customer service, but I cannot recommend this bin.

Curver bins
I chose these Curver bins as they are neat and compact and we no longer required a large family bin. They sit nicely together being domestic and recycling bins retrospectively. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Great but….
I ordered two of these and had to return one as the hinge on the back of the lid was broken. Three replacements later two of which were purchased in store and I gave up and had a refund. It’s a shame as the design and looks are great but the quality is poor.

The lid is approximately 15-20cm when open, so you need to allow that much extra room at least above the bin.

Yes the Curver 10 Litre would fit and allow the top to open. Its part of the same series, same colour if you want it.

As the Curver 30 Litre Plastic Lift Top Recycling Bin - Grey has a lift top lid, it is not possible to place a smaller bin on top whilst still allowing the lid to open.
