This Bosch dishwasher is a practical addition to your kitchen and has room for 10 place settings, great for compact kitchens. With 5 programmes and a height-adjustable top basket offering extra space especially for tall dishes, this dishwasher is easy to use and versatile. Extra drying option for difficult-to-dry loads - The Extra Dry function makes the drying time at the end of a cycle last longer and boosts the temperature so even items like plastic containers are dry.
Want to speed up a cycle? Combine your preferred programme with the SpeedPerfect option and the run time will be shortened by up to 66%. Does not apply to pre-rinse or express programmes. Silence whenever you need it - The Silence on demand function is activated via the Home Connect App and reduces noise for up to 30mins while the dishwasher keeps on running.
Less water, less energy, better performance - With carefully targeted water distribution, filter technology, faster heating and increased pump output for water circulation, Active Water dishwashers give superb results.

Great dishwasher
Great slim line dishwasher. Quiet ,washes & dries well. Fits more in than previous model. Hope this one lasts longer but does come with 5 yr guarantee which is good.

Big fan of Bosch
I owned the previous version of this model for over a decade and was extremely satisfied. I upgraded to this new Series of the same machine in July 2025 with high hopes. I am bitterly disappointed. This version is not a patch on its predecessor. My biggest issue having now used it for over a year and half is its very poor ability to clean even moderately dirty dishes so the same dishes have to be put in repeatedly. The photo attached is a typical occurrence - it couldn't even handle cleaning off broccoli. This is true even when using the Intensive setting and also ensuring that bowls and items are properly spaced to allow water to pass between them. It seems as though the new structure/placement of the water outlets inside the machine have been very poorly chosen resulting in numerous areas of the dishwasher not receiving sufficient water to clean them. My next biggest issue is that the dishes are not dry when the dishwasher is finished. I note this is a common problem referenced by other users in reviews but I chose to ignore them hoping it was specific to their machines. My mistake. Bosch have even built an "Extra Dry" button to try and solve this but it does not work (and furthermore, why should a dishwasher need a button to make them "extra" dry when they should be dry anyway). It happens every time. So when you lift the items out of the dishwasher most are wet enough to drip on the floor and stacked in the cupboard still partially wet. All in all, even as a very big Bosch fan, I am very disappointed in them for creating such a poor quality product. They have really let standards slip with this model. Avoid.

Clean as a whistle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new Bosch dishwasher cleans the dishes squeaky clean. It's just amazing, our old Bosch dishwasher was at least 22 years old. We've very impressed with the new dishwasher and would recommend it to anyone who's in the market for a new dishwasher.

The SPV2HKX42G does not have ‘EfficientDry’ therefore, the door does not open during the dry cycle or at the end of the washing programs.
