Series 4 Washing Machine
The New machine was installed easily and after carrying out the drum cleaning operation we have now used it on three different washes. These have all been fine other than we were a little supprised how long the Eco sycle lasted, but understand that this is to minimise the use of energy and water.

Faulty
Machine arrived and installed and first cycle run as per instructions. Machine door opened the next day and water flooded out!! Bosch contacted online after registering warranty and engineer booked for 4 days later. We suspected fault was with inlet valve as machine was filling with water when not in use unless water supply turned off. Engineer came and confirmed the inlet valve needed replacing as part of the valve was missing! Clearly a production error or fault. How can this happen? Aren't products checked and tested? Seems to be working well now and very quiet but obviously initial problems were disappointing and an inconvenience.

Good machine
Having brought a Bosch Fridge/Frezzer , impressed, got a Bosch Dishwasher, once a new washer was needed got this Bosch. Great choice of programs (esp delayed start, use that a lot.) Quiet operation, very good results from the machine. Easy to operate quite intuitive. The reason for buying Bosch; I always check if anything I purchase has the option of spare parts, even down to the smallest screw etc. I'm pretty mechanical so can repair when needed. The spares held by Bosch are very comprehensive . I hope Bosch keep doing this.

Great machine but......,.
Great machine, very quiet and very efficient water use. Controls very easy to use. I especially liked that you could pop a missed item with no fuss at all. Downside. Does not spin the clothes on 1400rpm nowhere as dry as my old machine, comes out quite damp taking much longer to dry in my Bosch series 4 tumble dryer.

The Speed Perfect function can cut washing time by up to 65%, without compromising the results.
