About this product
This Mercia bike store keeps your bikes secure and protected from the weather in any garden. It's made from overlap timber with a pent roof design that suits compact spaces. The double doors open wide so you can wheel bikes in and out without lifting them. The overlap boards fit horizontally and shed rainwater away from your bikes.
The timber construction needs annual treatment to stay water resistant and maintain protection. A floor panel is included to keep your bikes off the ground. Mineral roofing felt protects the roof from rain and damp. Assembly requires two people and takes a few hours. You'll have organised bike storage that keeps your garden tidy and your bikes ready to ride.

Good product, rubbish construction guidance
The product itself is good, looks nice and is a good size. Instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired though. Very confusing and items not numbered/ labelled and a lot of the parts look similar so was a lot more hassle to put together than it should have been. Stick a label on the parts with the corresponding numbers in the manual and it will make life far easier when putting it together.

Bike shed
Put the shed up with fixings supplied, will need to go round and add additional screws etc to make more sturdy, in my opinion there wasn't enough felt to cover the roof as they explained. I complained about this and eventually they sent another roll of felt out. For the ten year guarentee to be validated i have to tell how I treated the shed and what with !

Great all round
Brought this last month to keep my son and daughters bikes in,delivery was easy to book on line and delivery driver was excellent in delivering the shed.shed come in sections with plenty of screws provided,easy instructions to follow and easy to put together for a standard diy guy, Only fault is could of done with more nails for roof felt and smaller screws for hinges on door but brought some for £2.80 from diy shop so nothing to lose sleep over

Bike shed but not robust
I had to use force to take the feet off each panel. Not easy at all. The shed was not easy to put together and the felt was not wide enough (happy to supply more photos). I would not recommend this unless all material is measured and ordered to size.

Could of been better
Brought this shed for storage of two bikes. The instructions were bad, I had missing brackets, hinges and the wood was cut too short for one of the door trims. The doors don’t fit correctly and are over lapping. The base is flimsy and should have been thicker and the roof felt needed to be thicker as it splits when you bend it round to fix in. I had to go to Homebase for replacements to finish building it. I phoned Argos to complain and get replacements they said the suppliers don’t always respond? And basically they were not interest. Apart from that the delivery driver was great and very helpful and the wood once painted took really well.

Having checked I can see a base is needed to place this on. This can be a concrete base of 75mm laid on top of 75mm hard-core or slabs laid on 50mm of sharp sand.
