Elegant looking bed and easy to build
After weeks of searching for a suitable bed, I feel I made a great choice. Very easy to build . All the screws etc were in separate lettered bags which saved a lot of time. The instructions were clear and straight forward . I built it single handed (no man required) The bed is a good height and feels very solid. The headboard colour is lighter than expected by the pictures. It’s more of an on trend greige colour , which was still pleasing for what I wanted. The bed looks minimalistic and elegant . Thank you Habitat . Argos delivery service was also exceptional. I was kept well informed with the delivery time on the day . Delivery time was spot on.

Everything arrived in two boxes: a large square box containing the headboard and a long one holding the sides and end of the bed, along with the wooden slats and feet. A small red bag with all the items, such as the nuts, bolts, screws, washers and Allen key, was also included inside a smaller box. All parts seem solid and well-made. The instructions are not as complicated as they first appear. They are easy to follow once you read them and start the job. The fabric is lovely and smooth, but I wish the bed colour in person was the same as the one pictured online. In reality, it is more of a straightforward grey, like an elephant, than something that may be considered a slightly pink or orange-tinged hue, which is how it looks to me in the images. As with all these things, the Allen key is fiddly, especially when it needs to be used in some small, tight corners of the bed frame. Two vertical poles under the bed are attached to the central supporting strut, which needs to measure ten millimetres from the floor with a mattress on the bed. This can be tricky, especially if you have a deep mattress, as you must reach under the bed to measure and adjust the poles to the required measurement. Hopefully, the wooden slats will move into position, and the bed will change as it gets used to your sleep patterns. Four small felt pads must be attached to the bottoms of the feet to prevent damage to the floor, which is a nice touch.
