About this product
The Canon PIXMA G3570 3-in-1 Wireless MegaTank Printer is designed for home users who want to print, scan and copy without constantly worrying about ink costs. It uses refillable ink tanks rather than traditional cartridges, which means you fill them from bottles and get thousands of pages before needing more ink. You get 6,000 A4 pages from the black ink bottle and 7,700 pages with a full set of colour bottles, which is significantly more than standard cartridge printers and translates to much lower running costs over time.
Wi-Fi connects your computers, smartphones and tablets so you can print from any device without cables, supporting Apple AirPrint and the Canon Print App for mobile printing. It prints at 11ppm black and 6ppm colour, handles borderless photo printing up to A4, and has a 100-sheet paper capacity practical for everyday use. The 3.4cm display and simple controls make it easy to navigate even if you're not confident with technology, and manual duplex printing lets you print on both sides. At 6kg and 41.6x33.7x17.7cm, it's compact enough for most home spaces.

Easy setup but there are problems with the scanner.
The quality of print is great and setup was straightforward after a quick telephone call to Canon. Very helpful advisors. Disappointed with the Canon Print app. Finding it difficult to set up and get it to do what I want it to do. I had a Canon Lide220 scanner and it was fantastic. The scanner on my printer is not as useful - so far!

good idea simple to setup
Bought in the last couple of weeks, easy to set up, most devices seemed to fing and connect to it ok, awesome ink system, a bottle of ink in each colour, ideal for large print runs at sensible costs.

BOTH models - G3570 and G3590 - are MANUAL duplex.
What does this mean?
No Duplex
Manual Duplex
Automatic Duplex
No Duplex - you cannot print on the back of a sheet no matter what. This may be due to paper type, heat treatment, etc. Rare but exists.
Manual Duplex - can print both sides but have to print one side then put paper back into tray to print on other side.
Auto Duplex - printer prints both sides without any intervention required.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Canon PIXMA G3570 3-in-1 Wireless MegaTank Printer: This model does not print double sided automatically, the model above this one (G3590) does have Double sided printing.

It came with a set of ink bottles and they last absolutely ages.
I comes with ink. One 135ml bottle of black ink, 70ml each for the colour ink bottles.

The message that the ink absorber is almost full would relate to the maintenance cartridge, which absorbs ink used in cleaning. This specific part would then need to be replaced - not necessarily buying a new printer.
For this Canon PIXMA G3570 3-in-1 Wireless MegaTank Printer the part would be: Maintenance Cartridge MC-G04.
