They look lovely and suit our new bedroom however they are faulty. On the dimmest setting they flicker. Took the bulb out to try and tighten it, heard a buzzing sound, never worked again. Tried the bulb in the other lamp to see if it was the bulb rather than the actual lamp and the same thing happened, it pinged and no longer works

Brought to use as back lighting in the front room. Very please with these. Just check that you purchase dimmable bulbs. Argos has no stock at the time of purchase and suggested the wrong bulbs.

Lovely Bedside Lamps but had to return twice as Shades were bent, no problem for Argos exchanged. Then one stopped working after a week, again exchanged with no problem. Lovely light with suggested bulbs.

Starts off dim and gets brighter. Think it is better the other way around. If you’ve used it on dim before bed and turn it off to go to sleep, it’s gets brighter and brighter before off. Otherwise looks cute and great overall for good price for the pair

To be perfectly honest, having now seen these lamps in-person, the base does read brassy but not overly so - a truly neutral metal, WITHOUT the warmth of gold OR all the way brightness of silver either. For anyone buying these based solely on the colours shown in the online photos, it may be better to ask to be able to open the packaging and see inside when purchasing, so you can return it then and there if need be.
