Jury's still out on this one. Dissapointed there's no dark mode on it as a white background hurts my eyes, even with it dimmed. Other than that, it's a good size, easy to set up/link to your Amazon account and sync to other kindles so all your books are on it. Would have given it 5 stars if it had dark mode. Colours faded, not bright, like everything is pastel coloured. Battery doesn't last long though, used 10% in about 5 minutes of reading. Don't think it's worth the price, think it should be around half of what it is for its size and colour pics, etc. Not sure if I prefer the original black and white Kindle better as that has dark mode and even though it's smaller, is better on the eyes. Thin, shiny/slippy to hold on its own n easy to drop, but I got a great cover from somewhere else, which has made holding it much better and protects the screen. Had it a week and sort of getting to grips with the light/white background but would have preferred a dark option as I have light sensitivity issue. If you can stand a white background with muted colour pictures then this may be for you?

Great kindle!
I bought this when it was on offer and can’t get over the quality! I haven’t put it down, and the colour display just makes it even better. One downfall would be the battery. It’s advised it can last up to 8 weeks but I’m a heavy reader and find myself having to charge it every other day. Not a massive issue but just one thing that I found that varied from the advertisement

This is the first time approaching to a Kindle after having a Kobo and I bought this e-reader two weeks ago and I've been using it every day, and the battery as not running out. I am very pleased with it and the aesthetic of this.

The best thing I’ve ever brought! A great size which is easily popped in a bag, so easy to read books on it as you can change the brightness, contrast, and font. The battery lasts about 2 weeks or so (for me) but I read daily and for a few hours in an evening so it’s still extremely good!
