About this product
This 4-arm rotary airer gives you 50m of drying space, so there's plenty of room for all your washing without things getting squashed or taking ages to dry. It's well suited to busy households where laundry keeps piling up - just pop it up when you need it and fold it down when you're done. The umbrella lifting mechanism makes opening and closing simple, and the blue locking system clicks into place at four stages so you can adjust the height to suit what you're drying.
The steel pole is sturdy and stays firmly in place once installed, and it comes with a ground socket to help you fix it securely. The 38mm pole diameter gives it a solid frame, and when fully open it needs a fair amount of space to turn with a 2.7m circle. It weighs just over 4kg, so it's manageable to move around if needed. Very sturdy and strong
Very sturdy and strong so hopefully this one lasts. Great strong arms solid so holds alot of clothes. Previous ones I have had have been too flimsy but this seems very strong and durable. Good price too so highly recommend.

Impressive stability, capacity & value for money.
Large capacity, space for two 8kg machine loads. Sturdy arms and centre pole. Open/close mechanism works well, however due to the size and weight of the 45m model someone with limited hand/arm strength might find it more tricky. I added the Argos Home Heavy Duty Ground Spike for extra stability, as winds can be strong on the coast. Not concreted in, just straight into the ground and it works brilliantly. Ordered a cover as well as it does not come with one.

Wash and go
Had to buy this to replace one that had given up due to rust! Seems sturdy enough at the moment, easy to put up - put into the ground spike (which was already in from the previous one) open it up and good to go! Bish bash bosh, washing on the line just in time for the rain.

Mine isnt concreted in and is fine! I bought a ground spike which my dad hammered into the ground for me and then this fits fine with the ground socket attached into the spike also.
My line is very sturdy, it also means I can remove from the ground if needed

The Home 50m 4 Arm Rotary Airer has a pole diameter of 38mm. If the diameter of your ground spike is less than this then it will not fit. A separate ground socket is supplied with this airer.
