Reliable connection, good software and options.
Software on this is much better than my previous doorcam which was a different brand. Connection is more stable, better options. Easy to install, although had to pay a lot extra for a wedge mount which had been included in my previous one. Only surprise was the focus field which makes everything seem far away and less clear beyond 3 metres. Zoom function reduces clarity in a way other doorcam brand did not. Conclusion is it’s fine for close up view of people on doorstep but not much use for monitoring my car parked on street, which gets routinely vandalised along with my neighbours cars.

I bought this doorbell a month ago and its fantastic I am able to hear when someone is at my door now and I can also talk through the doorbell to answer it. Highly recommended and looks great.

10/10 ring doorcam is excellent. Clear wide span videos. The venison bronze is looks especially nice on the door, and I've had many people say how classy it looks. i bought mine specifically to keep an eye on how my parcels are handled, but also to record if anyone steals parcel's from my door after they're delivered and im not home Can highly recommend

To charge this you need to unclip the full doorbell and charge.

This is the inbuilt battery veraion, so youll have to remove the ring from the base plate you will need the orange tool which is like a flat head screwdriver, not the screw version which has removable batteries.
