I fought this rise of technology for years as I prefer to read a real book but with more titles now going straight to ebook and old titles not be reprinted, I succumbed. Fits nicely into a hand, great for holidays as less weight than books and can store numerous titles waiting to read. Display, ease of use etc all top notch. With the discount and bundle add ons made it an excellent purchase

Light and compact for taking out and about
I have had this a couple of weeks now and I'm really happy with it. The battery life is great. It is easy to download books and there is so much space. The display is great and easy to change things - the variable settings mean you can adjust it for the best contrast in sunlight or darkness It is light to carry when you are out and about.

Best option if already in the kindle ecosystem
The device itself is very responsive and a huge improvement over my old Kindle. My main complaint is the lack of physical buttons to change page; it's very easy to accidently change page with the touch screen or change page in the wrong direction. More customisation options would also be very welcome. The fact that you have to pay extra to remove ads is shocking too.
