The Dyson Cool AM07 Tower Fan generates smooth, powerful airflow for personal cooling. Like all Dyson bladeless fans, it uses Air Multiplier technology to draw in surrounding air, creating powerful air projection. Some fans are quiet but weak; others are powerful but noisy. AM07 is quiet and powerful. There's also a remote control for precise airflow control, and a sleep timer – am07 can be programmed to turn off after preset intervals, for ease of use throughout the night.

Cooling Fan
Although I can hear the fan it is no where near as loud as a conventional fan. It cools my sitting room on the first setting very quickly. I am very pleased with spend £300 on the product

Great cooling
Great for cooling down in the heat. Doesn't take up much space and looks good in living areas. The remote is really useful for adjusting the airflow. Quiet and good oscillation.

Amazed
My experience of fans over the years has been that there has been more air movement but little to no cooling. I needed a fan so looked on the Argos website. Seeing the excellent reviews for this model I ordered one. The following day I questioned my judgement, especially at the premium price, but in the end decided to continue with the order. I collected it from the store and took it home. It took minutes to assemble and I switched it on. I couldn't believe how good it was. The cool air reaches a long way, especially with the oscillation. The remote control is very useful. Even on hot days I rarely use anything above the number 2 setting. As someone who lives in an attic flat which gets ridiculously hot in seummer I consider this money well spent. Particularly for me as I really struggle with the heat. Also the air movement counters the sense of stuffiness when keeping the windows closed. Although it is lightweight it is well engineered and built to last. I can heartily recommend this product.

Perfect- not a normal fan but not air conditionin
During our yearly British heatwave I always harass my wife about the need to bite the bullet and have air conditioning installed. Having looked at myriad reviews for this unit and considered the YouTube videos I thought this would be a worthy substitute for air conditioning. It is not. This will not cool a whole room because it is not an air conditioning unit. HOWEVER - this will cool your body in a hot loft bedroom very effectively indeed. It is also extremely economical when compared to an air conditioner. It's quiet, the air flow is very smooth and it's very stylish. Don't be put off by reviewers who claim that this is just an expensive fan. It is not - It's far superior. In addition, some reviewers claim that the build quality isn't up to scratch. This is nonsense. The plastics used are excellent - the finish is perfect and attractive. I'm so, so pleased with this. I'm never buying another fan, I've told the wife that every room will have one of these in it instead! And it will still be cheaper than having air conditioning installed.

Dont buy
I thought this would be amazing and so it should be seeing as it was £300. So disappointing. Didnt cool the room at all and was so incredibly noisy. Took it back got my money refunded.

You will notice the remote is arched a little so it fits on the arch of the fan. Right on top of it.
