About this product
Reaching tall hedges without climbing ladders? The Einhell 46cm Corded Pole Hedge Trimmer tackles overhead growth with a telescopic shaft that extends up to 2.6m. It's a 900W electric trimmer that cuts through thick branches using laser-cut, diamond-ground blades. The 46cm blade handles wide hedges efficiently with a 41.2cm cutting length. You'll manage branches up to 20mm thick without hesitation. The 11-position adjustable cutting head lets you angle your cuts for precise overhead work. A rotating rear handle switches between vertical and horizontal cutting positions easily.
The dual safety switch protects you during operation as a built-in feature. You'll feel comfortable during longer jobs with the softgrip surfaces and adjustable strap. The blade tip protector prevents damage when working near walls and fences. It's got a safety guard for added protection while you trim. This corded tool provides consistent 240 volt power for the entire job. The 10m cable gives you reach without frequent repositioning. A quiver comes included for safe transport and storage between uses.

Customers Say
Well-built, powerful pole hedge trimmer with good reach and balanced motor placement. Heavy for some users, cable connection prone to disconnecting. Effective cutting, versatile angles, and suitable for tall hedges.

Too heavy to use
Looked like a good piece of kit but far too heavy for me to use. Am returning and buying something a lot lighter.

Stopped working during first use
Regrettably I cannot score this higher. On first use it completely stopped working! Have tried all the suggested troubleshoots to get it going again but to no avail. Asides from that the first 5mins of use looked promising!

What a lopper
Used it for the first time found it ideal its made working in my garden easier because due my health and disability I am unable to work up a ladder

Smooth operator
Well balanced, but a touch heavy at full extension. Cuts well. The supply cable seems somewhat heavy duty. Overall much better then my previous pole cutter which had the motor at the cutting end!

Einhell corded pole hedge trimmer - my experience
First use of the pole trimmer yesterday and I’m really impressed - with the strength, power and ease in which I could tilt the cutting blade as well as rotate the handle (and switch grip). In fact, it was almost too simple! I’ve got a corded Einhell oscillating mini saw/sander so I have trust in the built strength and brand. For a pole trimmer, I favour corded mainly for the extra power and obvious continuous use, but I needed my extension cable to reach the hedges, despite the tough 10m long cable but content, as a trade off for more power and longer use. Some folk mention that the power lead connector keeps parting, but I think they’re not using the cable pull-safe hook and loop on the foot of the handle part, which effectively prevents any tension on the connector. I’ve seen some folk criticise its weight - it’s definitely not the lightest, and maybe a bit lighter or as equal as a petrol-engined model, but for me, the slightly lightweight sling deals with this OK. I’m not confident about how strong the plastic/nylon sling clip will be after much more use so will revert to my own stronger harness setup for greater strength and comfort. Again, just my first hour of sustained use, so let’s see how it holds up after 10+ outings. NB: I was trimming box, privet and that fast growing fir hedging that both stinks and stings your forearms after scratches. The branch stems were never more than 20mm dia (thick) and it knifed through butter! Trimmer remained clean during session1, but I’ve still lightly oiled the blade (keeps it good for next use and prevents light rusting when overwintering in your shed). Happy (no, thrilled) so far. Tackles even the most mature bush
Bought this at the weekend, having attempted to take control of a large Laurel hedge using cordless hege trimmer and manual shears. The difference using this was unbelievable and had the job done in no time and really neat finish made me realise sometimes it’s better to stick your hand on your pocket and buy the tool that does the job and does it well. (Only criticism is it is a bit heavier than I expected)

Great at cutting but quite heavy
I bought this after our last on hedge trimmer broke and this time we wanted an extended one for our 8ft hedge. Reaches the top of the hedges with ease and has great cutting power however is heavy enough if you have alot of hedges to cut like us and I do weight lifting so am quite strong but found myself tiring using this. It also took some getting used to in terms of cutting the sides of the hedges due to the long arm without the extended bit but hopefully will learn to get used to it.

Hedge trimmer for hard to reach places
This is a well balanced hedge trimmer, the motor is at the base near your hands. Yes it’s corded but you always have power instead of waiting for batteries to charge, it’s a matter of preference. Good reach, ability to cut the top of the hedge with the angled head, or just the sides. Attachable pole to extend the reach or height. Would recommend

Hello Chad.
Yes, the Einhell 46cm Corded Pole Hedge Trimmer - 900W does have the blade attached. It features a 46cm laser-cut, diamond-ground blade for precise trimming, making it suitable for cutting thicker branches effectively.
The Einhell 46cm Corded Pole Hedge Trimmer - 900W does not have an anti-vibration cushion. It features a robust metal gearbox and is designed for safe and efficient cutting, but lacks a cushioning feature for vibration reduction.
Thank you for using Q&A
Yes it does - not sure why they answered no for. That black handle you pull it and it can go up to 90 degreee angle to do the tops of hedges etc
Hello,
This does not go to a 90 degrees angle.
