The Bosch SMS26AW08G brings practical cleaning power to your kitchen with space for 12 place settings, making it ideal for medium-sized households. With 6 programmes and 4 temperature settings, you've got flexibility for everything from lightly soiled plates to heavily soiled pots and pans. The height-adjustable top basket gives you room for taller items, whilst the Extra Dry function extends drying time and boosts temperature to ensure even tricky plastic containers come out perfectly dry.
The automatic programme removes guesswork by detecting soil levels and adjusting water temperature and rinse time, using only what's needed for spotless results. ActiveWater technology delivers superb cleaning with targeted water distribution and improved pump output, using 9.5L per eco cycle. Bosch dishwasher
I bought another Bosch dish washer having had my previous one for 22 years which had been great until a few weeks ago when the lower spray arm would not spray. Decided it was time to purchase a new one. Same kind and I'm delighted with it. Has a few more programmes than the previous one. They are all easy to use. Am giving it 5 stars.

Does the jib and quiet
Takes a bit longer than the previous model but does good job and very quiet. Almost too quiet(!) as used to previous machine hum in background, knowing when it went quiet, time to empty. Hopefully will not need it, but 5yr guarantee grabbed the deal. Previous model needed a repair just within it's 3-yr guarantee.

Easy programmes
I purchased this Bosch dishwasher to replace my old one which was a great buy. So far so good all seems well, the 12 place setting is ideal, the cleaning and drying excellent. I have used the eco setting in the evening when the machine is full. No doubt tthe shorter programme at 1 hr will be used when we have a full house. I would recommend this machine.

Excellent dishwasher
The dishwasher runs with a low, unobtrusive noise level, making it easy to forget it’s on. Its efficiency is excellent, using minimal water and power while still delivering a strong clean. Great appliance, recommend.
Have had the appliance a week now. It was a replacement for my old Bosch dishwasher which lasted for an impressive 18 years, hence buying another Bosch. Pleased with it overall but it's capacity is a bit smaller than my previous model. It also doesn't come with a knife rack which is disappointing, however I saved my knife rack from my old appliance and it fits! There are enough programmes and additional options to choose from, meaning you can customise to your needs. There is very little noise and not sure the silent programme is needed as I can barely hear it anyway! Dishes come out lovely and clean and nice and dry, so it's efficiency is as good as my previous model. Really pleased and would definitely recommend, particularly as it comes with a 5 year warranty, which many other brands don't.

For items such as dishwashers, these need to be disconnected beforehand to ensure that there is no residual water in the machine. Whether, in your case, the installer would be prepared to disconnect, would be at their discretion. However, this can be discussed beforehand when placing the order but the official line would be to have it disconnected beforehand if at all possible.
