About this product
Engineered to wash hard floors. Properly. Removes wet and dry dirt in one go using clean water from start to finish. Powerfully tackles spills, debris, hair and tough dried-on stains on all hard floors types. Automatically divides wet and dry waste into separate containers for hygienic disposal – so you don't touch the dirt. Self-cleaning cycle, automatically flushes the machine after use to prevent the build up of dirt and debris.
Minimum refills, maximum coverage - Washes up to 290sqm of hard flooring on just one tank of water, which is the equivalent size of a tennis court.
Glides and goes low, effortlessly - Double rollers spin in opposite directions, so Dyson WashG1 wet cleaner feels easy to maneuver. It's also designed to reach low under furniture and into awkward spaces.
Precision-controlled hydration - Three cleaning modes let you set the hydration level to suit the task: level 1, level 2, or level 3. So you can tackle anything from light spills, to sticky liquids and dried-on stains.

Hard floor washer
Bought this a month ago a little disappointed that it did not dry the rollers after its wash, as the later models do, so it was my fault, but the ease of cleaning roller adoption and efficiency is much better than the new model, so I understand.

Cleans effortlessly
I bought this around 3 weeks ago. Household with 3 dogs and this wet weather has meant wet dogs, wet feet and dirty floors that need cleaning daily. Not disappointed with the performance or cleaning capability of this floor cleaner. Have always had a hard floor cleaner (not dyson) but can honestly say this one has the edge on other brands used. Would highly recommend

Had this machine for two weeks now and I can say it does an excellent job using very little water. Great on tiles and wood floors. The only problem is its quite difficult pull the grit tray and rollers out to clean the machine but perhaps this just needs practice.Overall I'm very happy with it as it can cope with two Golden Retrievers

Great idea, overall performance is good
We've had this machine for 3 weeks now and it cleans flat floors very well. A full charge lasts about 30 minutes using the lowest hydration mode. It does not clean the grout on a tiled floor - the microfibre rollers don't get into the grooves. The instructions to use the machine aren't that well written. The first problem that I had was how to get the machine off the charging dock - you have to hold the back of dock and then pull the machine upwards. The instructions refer to a Max line on the side of the clean water tank but there isn't one. I emptied the debris tray before running the self-clean cycle. The amount of dirt mixed up with soapy fluid was quite off-putting - I used a couple of paper towels to remove the mess before washing the tray under a tap. I emptied the dirty water tank and topped up the clean water tank to run the self-cleaning cycle which brings up a fair amount of dirty water. Following this, I went through a full maintenance program cleaning, the debris tray, water tanks and the rollers and brushes. This took about 10 minutes! I was very impressed with the thoughtful design so it's easy to re-assemble although getting debris out from the cleaner head was a bit tricky.

I have had the machine just over a week. Cleaning the floors is pretty simple. Cleaning the machine is a faff. That said, I’m really happy with how clean our floors look and how clean they are.

We would like to inform you that the Dyson Wash G1 is designed to work with both cold and warm water. However, to avoid damaging the machine, the water temperature should not exceed 35°C (95°F). As for detergents, the machine is specifically engineered to clean effectively using just clean water.
