About this product
Engineered to wash hard floors. Properly. Removes wet and dry dirt in one go using clean water from start to finish. Powerfully tackles spills, debris, hair and tough dried-on stains on all hard floors types. Automatically divides wet and dry waste into separate containers for hygienic disposal – so you don't touch the dirt. Self-cleaning cycle, automatically flushes the machine after use to prevent the build up of dirt and debris.
Minimum refills, maximum coverage - Washes up to 290sqm of hard flooring on just one tank of water, which is the equivalent size of a tennis court.
Glides and goes low, effortlessly - Double rollers spin in opposite directions, so Dyson WashG1 wet cleaner feels easy to maneuver. It's also designed to reach low under furniture and into awkward spaces.
Precision-controlled hydration - Three cleaning modes let you set the hydration level to suit the task: level 1, level 2, or level 3. So you can tackle anything from light spills, to sticky liquids and dried-on stains.

Very poor design.
I bought this 2 weeks ago used it twice. From my experience as an engineer Dyson have put very little research and development into this product. Leaves the floor absolutely soaking wet with streaky lines. The self clean cycle is a load of rubbish takes a good 30 minutes to manually clean all the rollers and then you have to place them near a heat source to dry. The docking station is also of very poor quality. I returned the product as was far from happy.

We purchased the machine just before Xmas and it gives an excellent performance with a great clean to our floors. The only snag was sourcing the floor cleaning fluid which does not seem to be shipped to Northern Ireland.

Worth the expense!
A friend of ours had one of these and on their recommendation we got one. It cleans effortlessly. It is ingenious in design so there is no vacuum. Two rollers counter rotate and it cleans so well. Yes cleaning the bottom tray is a bit of a faf ad the it leaks a little but that is nothing. Buy this, you won't be disappointed. The self cleaning is a technological dream!

More work than a mop and bucket
I bought this just over 3 weeks ago and I wish I could send it back as its verging on useless because its so blooming needy! It doesn't actually clean the floor , it wipes gently ...no stubborn stains/spills are removed without me being on my knees ( and yes I bought the super expensive cleaner too). The cleaning of the machine leaves you dreading to use it and you need to do it EVERYTIME! Dear Dyson engineers you have given us a plastic , falls apart every time it's stored , not quite ready yet machine and for that you should be embarrassed. If only I could send it back for being more work than a mop and bucket.who are these people that think its wonderful????

Save your money
Don’t bother with this product. It will not save you any time. Cleaning the waste tray takes longer than getting out a mop and bucket, and it leaks after you have finished a cycle into the stand tray. Which defeats the purpose of buying it. I am really surprised Dyson you have designed such an awful product.

We would like to inform you that the Dyson Wash G1 is designed to work with both cold and warm water. However, to avoid damaging the machine, the water temperature should not exceed 35°C (95°F). As for detergents, the machine is specifically engineered to clean effectively using just clean water.
