Very nice elegant bed

Fab bed, love it!
Very happy with this bed. Husband is a superstar and built it no problems (he is good at this kind of thing so don't know if it was tricky or not). It's a lovely bed, well made and the storage is fab. Lovely navy blue. Very happy with the purchase and it arrived much faster than the expected date.

complicated to put up using a youtube video (no instructions) some holes not drilled into the frame so we had to do it, was a nice bed when it was assembled

Very pleased- really well made , looks great. If it's storage your after this is the bed for you. Have your own 14mm spanner and large Phillips screwdriver as the ones provided are rubbish.

Great bed but it’s not navy!
I love this bed but I wouldn’t have chosen it if the correct colour had been stated. We bought navy curtains so wanted a matching bed. The bed looks navy when you see it inside the wrapping but once you open it the colour is like peacock blue. It’s still a gorgeous colour but it doesn’t go with our room. We had to keep it though as we needed the bed quickly and thought of Argos because they are quick but unfortunately we had to wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered.

Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied
I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the bed frame I purchased. The size discrepancy is unacceptable. I expected it to be 150 cm to accommodate my king-size mattress, but what I received was 155 cm by 205 cm, significantly larger than my mattress. Despite numerous calls and emails to the company, they insisted that this discrepancy was normal. Despite the hardship of assembling it, I had no choice but to return the bed frame. My overall experience with both the purchase and the company's handling of the situation left me feeling extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

Ottoman bed
Lovely looking bed but the fabric base cover was too small, the slats don’t go to the end of the bed! I bought a new double Emma mattress also is too small for the base. Such a shame as I was expecting so much more.

Nice looking bed but overall quite dissatisfied
To start, the positives. This is a nice looking, stylish bed. The headboard is very modern and the ottoman offers lots of storage space which is handy. The bed is easy to lift and close on your own. Customer service from the manufacturer is good. The negatives. The bed is not manufactured by Argos so the manufacturers use their own courier for delivery. I was told by email from Argos that I would receive 2 days notice for delivery. I did not. I had less than a day telling me when it would arrive and no option to change. The courier company’s website states they will deliver to the room of choice. They did not. They dumped three huge, incredibly heavy boxes in the hall and left. I had to heave these up dog leg stairs on my own. One of the parts was broken so I contacted customer service at the manufacturer. They arrived for the spare part to be sent out, but sent the wrong part. They used UPS to send these, and they were dreadful. Once the correct part was dispatched this took absolutely ages to arrive, meaning I had a half built bed for several weeks. I found the bed incredibly hard to build. Although there are paper instructions and a YouTube video I found neither of these particularly clear despite never having any issues with flat pack furniture. Everything seemed incredibly difficult and clunky and like I was forcing the parts together. Nothing went together seamlessly. The headboard fabric on closer inspection is not a total black but has faint white marks and lines within it. It’s really hard to tell in photographs. If it weren’t for the hassle of returning the size of the headboard I would have returned it. It isn’t noticeable from a distance and I was keen to actually have a bed! I think my biggest annoyance is that, despite being a double bed, it is too big for a standard double mattress so the slats are noticeable unless you have a bit duvet to cover. Also, it is incredibly noisy. Even the slightest movement or rolling over (god forbid anything else!!) causes the bed to squeak and creek. You can hear all the mechanisms underneath. Overall, somewhat dissatisfied really. On reflection, I wish I had bought a different bed. This is disappointing because I had favourited this bed for weeks. It was the first I saw and I loved the look of it but I feel quite letdown. I would not buy it again. If you buy it yourself you will need help and many hours or even days to build it, be prepared for it to be noisy and don’t expect for it to feel worth the price!
