Cordless Lawnmower
This is my first cordless lawnmower and it was a good buy. Easy to use and charge and ideal for a small to medium size lawn. The one downside was that it is less easy to self-assembly than any other lawnmower I’ve owned.

Pleasant surprise
I've now used the mower 3 times and I'm very impressed, I was optimistic the first cut that the batteries would not last long enough but they did the job two front lawns fair size. The second time i charged the batteries I left them until the plug turned from red to green and batteries lasted longer. I highly recommend the Flymo 300 li and Argos value.

I did need some help in putting it together. I felt that the instructions could have been clearer. Or a QR code to link to a demo online maybe. It cuts lovely and is nice and light to use.

Bought this item and a cordless strimmer as a moving in gift for sons first house - one of the batteries does not charge so will now have to spend time following up!

A bit disappointing
I bought this to replace a Bosch model that I was very happy with for 7 years. I bought this one based on the fact that I believed Flymo to be a long standing and trusted lawnmower manufacturer. However I was not at all impressed. It felt very light, flimsy, plasticky and almost toy like. It really doesn’t cut well and leaves the lawn patchy and lined. A full charge doesn’t cut my whole lawn therefore I need to wait hours for the recharge to complete the job. And to top it all off it was a lot more expensive than my Bosch one or others on the market.

You can buy more from Flymo but theyre expensive - two batteries almost cost the same as the whole mower. Also, the batteries randomly stop charging eventually - the previous version of this product had loads of 1 star reviews for that reason. My batteries failed for the first time within a few months of buying, and the warranty replaced them no problem. Now one year later one of those replacements has died so Im not sure what Ill do, probably buy one and if that fails give up.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Flymo SimpliStore 300R Li 30cm Cordless Rotary Lawnmower: To answer your enquiry, the battery to be charged must be placed on a nonflammable, heat resistant and non-conductive surface while charging.
