Great Little Cheap BBQ
This BBQ is excellent value for money and surprisingly capable for such an affordable grill. It's very light-weight and mobile, so getting it out the garage isn't a hassle. This not my primary BBQ, but has a perfect capacity for smaller cooks, quick weeknight grilling, or when you don’t want the hassle of firing up a larger setup. This is the second one I’ve bought, since the first once proved so durable. It performs brilliantly for direct heat cooking straight over the charcoal, but once the lid is on, it also provides decent convection cooking for roasting and slower cooks. Another big plus is that the top cooking grate is small enough to fit in a dishwasher. While it won’t remove every bit of residue, it gets most of it off with far less effort and is much gentler than aggressive scrubbing. I’d strongly recommend avoiding wire brushes or metal scourers on the grate as they will damage the grate's coating over time. A few useful tips from experience: 1) During assembly, use a hairdryer to warm and soften the stickers on the lid before peeling them away (makes it easier). Any leftover adhesive can be cleaned off with white spirit. This is worth doing properly because if the labels are left on, the heat will burn the glue into the enamel coating and the residue becomes almost impossible to remove later. 2) Before cooking food for the first time, do a proper “burn-in.” Open the bottom vent fully, fill a chimney starter with charcoal and wait until the coals are extremely hot. Add the coals to the BBQ, fit the lid with the top vent fully open, and maintain high heat for a while. If the temperature drops, remove the lid and fan the coals to keep them roaring. This burns off any manufacturing residues and gives you a much cleaner first cook. Overall, a fantastic budget BBQ that punches well above its price point.

Missing screws
Cannot comment on the actual functionality of the BBQ because it arrived missing loads of screws. This seems to have been the experience of a few customers. Have returned and repurchased in hope second arrives complete but if the next one is also faulty I will be really annoyed!

Excellent little barbecue
Easy to assemble ... big enough for the two of us... nice charred food results... easy to move around where needed... and will hopefully last us for a few years.

Great value for money
Easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. Good capacity for two people. Haven't used it yet so can't comment on crisping. Mobility is good. Not sure about durability. Everything is a bit flimsy, but at £22.50 you can't expect heavy parts and great quality. We bought it to take on holiday, so it's perfect for this.
