We needed a different type of pole fixing, able to take the weight of our curtains. This achieved that and looks good too. Neat when closed or open, and it works having the curtain go round either end.

Needed a sturdy rail to bridge 2.5 mt span for floor to ceiling curtains, have to say was little sceptical but pleasantly surprised. Pole wider than usual off the shelf rails, good fixings has given a sturdy finish.

For anyone wondering where the third pole is, the second narrow 22cm pole is supplied already inside the wider 25cm pole.

Argos Home 1.1m-3m Extendable Metal Curtain Pole - S Steel:
The two poles supplied are fitted together by the one pole sliding inside the other allowing for any extension depending how much you slide inside. Just slide and fit to the length you want.

Having looked into this, it is advised pole lengths longer than 240cm should be supported using the centre bracket. If using heavier curtains, it is again advised to use the centre support bracket.
