Excellent
Excellent monitor, perfect for working from home, loads of space to work on 2 apps at the same time, and is so clear and bright. Some people have said the stand is not so good, however I use a vesa bracket which is great.

Excellent monitor
I read all the reviews, including bad ones, then went ahead and ordered it. My application is for a music DAW, so I don't need super accurate colours. I don't need internal speakers, as my system has far better monitors. If you read the spec, it does not feature speakers. The display is nice and sharp - no complaints. I will probably ditch the stand and get an adjustable desk mounted arm, so I can position it to my taste, hovering above other equipment. I may well buy another two!

Excellent VFM
Excellent value 4k monitor. Perfect size for desktop working. Easy to use UI and sound quality is good for this price point. Added bonus of 2 x HDMI inputs. MSI always deliver great quality monitors for a great price. Highly recommended.

A Great 4K Monitor
I bought this monitor mainly for photo editing.I have had a 4K screen in a laptop before but this being 27 inch rather than 15.6 inch is just perfect. You can really see the images with such clarity, its perfect for retouching details etc.The colours are really good and can be adjusted to suit your setup. Its a gamechanger for photo editing.

Very good minitor
I purchased this to go with my iniMac and it’s pretty good, I would have like the 4k to be crisper, I’m surprised it isn’t. But it’s a good all round monitor.

Good for Office Work
I work in publishing. I edit manuscripts, write copy, use Photoshop, and edit videos. I had a Samsung 24" LED SR35 Gaming Monitor, 75Hz and FHD. It was fine, got the job done, but I needed more acreage and I needed a sharper image. Seeing jagged edges on letters in Word or Docs causes eye strain. I wanted a 4K monitor. I do not game, so a 60Hz refresh rate is fine for me. I had a size limitation. The monitor gap in the IKEA Micke desk constrains your options. This fit, the price was right. I needed the largest 4K UHD monitor my desk could handle. Job done. Even at £140, the price is right (you will often find it lower). Comes with a monitor, base, stand, power cable (I received a UK and Type C Europlug) and a “high speed HDMI” cable (I could not tell if it supported HDMI 2.0). Assembly is simple and does not require tools. You can do it yourself. The monitor tilts between -5° and 23° if you need to change the viewing angle. (Use two hands, only touch the bezel, do not touch the panel.) On the back of the monitor: There is one HDMI por, not two as the Argos specs say. (Check your device's specs. I had to go HDMI to USB-C to get 60Hz as the HDMI port on my laptop is 1.4b—be sure your HDMI cables are HDMI 2.0 to get the higher refresh rate. I needed to plug in to the USB-C because it supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and HDCP 2.2 to bypass the HDMI 1.4b limitations.) There is a Display Port. There is no DP cable, despite the PDF manual on the Argos website stating it is included. According to the manual, you can achieve a refresh rate of 75Hz with a DP cable, which I was not able to test out. There is a female 3.5mm audio jack. I plugged my speakers into it without issue. Headphones work also, however the microphone was not recognised. Brightness is acceptable for office environments, but this monitor is rated at 300 cd/m², which is adequate for dim rooms and struggles in bright daylight. It is an IPS monitor, therefore HDR is modest. This makes HDR content appear less impactful, with limited dynamic range and less vivid highlights. Response times can be a little slow. (Again, I do not game.) Colour improves by adjusting the default settings. This also may have to do with its location (I am perpendicular to a window). I increased contrast and reduced blue light for better vibrancy. At night the monitor is more vibrant. That being said, this is an inexpensive monitor and you need to make some concessions. Settings knobs are under the right-bottom bezel. The menu requires multiple presses to navigate, and the labels are hard to read in low light. There is a thin plastic bezel, almost flush with the screen, around three quarters of the panel. The bottom has a thick plastic bezel, about an inch wide. The circular base is ten inches in diameter. There is a VESA mount (100mm x 100mm). It reminded me of the old Dell flat panels c. 2005. It is sturdy. I do get a little wobble, but I suspect this is more a result of my desk and keyboard than the monitor itself. This monitor is fit for purpose and nothing more. If you are doing office work, it is good as a daily driver and especially as a second monitor. Avoid using it in bright environments. If you do colour-critical work or professional workflows like photo or video editing in brightly lit studios or for HDR content creation, this is not the monitor for you. They pitched one right down the middle. The low price is justified. It is a simple, clear 4K screen which makes hours of writing copy, doing Excel, basic Photoshop and LumaFusion a pleasure. It has a night mode if that is something you seek.

An excellent monitor for the price tag.
This has been a game changer for me. I now have a second monitor for my work flow. Easy to use. Would benefit from speakers.

Great deal for the price
An amazing price for a Crisp and clear display. Everything looks sharp. I'm an avid PC gamer and the improvement from my old 1080p monitor to this 4k monitor was great. It's doesn't feel flimsy like some other cheap monitors. If you want to game at 4k at a budget price then this is the go to monitor. Yes it looks good at 1080p too. No screen tearing etc. One of the best monitors I have ever bought.

Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Needed an extra monitor 4k at a reasonable price. Spot on.

It seems to be one without built-in speakers as the manufacturers website says that it has a headphone out 3.5mm meaning that its an audio out port not audio in.
Hi
Problem is that this monitor does not have audio in the OSD
Hello Taylor,
From the information we have available, I can advise To get the built-in speakers on your AOC U27B3M 27 Inch 60Hz 4K UHD Monitor to work, follow these steps:
Check Connections: Ensure that your monitor is properly connected to your computer or other device using an HDMI or DisplayPort cable. These cables carry both video and audio signals.
Select the Correct Audio Output:
On your computer, go to the sound settings.
Select the AOC U27B3M monitor as the default audio output device.
Adjust Volume Settings:
Use the monitor's on-screen display (OSD) menu to navigate to the audio settings.
Ensure the volume is turned up and not muted.
Update Drivers: Make sure your computer's audio drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause audio issues.
Test with Different Sources: Try playing audio from different sources (e.g., YouTube, music player) to ensure the issue isn't with the specific application.
Hope this helps

Hello Flinty
I can advise the following for the AOC U27B3M 27 Inch 60Hz 4K UHD Monitor:
This can be used for any platform that requires a display out put, it only have 1 HDMI and 1 Display port.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Yes it works with gaming consuls, but beware THIS MONITOR HAS ONLY 1 HDMI SOCKET 1 DISPLAY PORT AND 1 INPUT PORT
It is on the Argos info page as having 2 hdmi ports but only has 1
I recently brought one, and found that out when I got home, told Argos and they have done nothing to remedy this...
Hello Benjam,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the AOC U27B3M 27 Inch 60Hz 4K UHD Monitor: ''No just HDMI 2.0, you would only need HDMI 2.1 if the monitor had a refresh rate over 144Hz but this model has a max refresh rate of 60Hz.''
Thank you for using Q & A.
