Simply does exactly what I want.
The Spear and Jackson mower is really well made and extremely easy to adjust the height of the cut. I’ve had several electric mowers and this is by far the best and was excellent value for £93. Very pleased with the ease of purchase in the shop.

Haven't been able to use the mower yet because of time of year and grass is so wet. Design seems to be good and it looks good. BUT assembly instructions are poor and diagrams are so small as to be useless. Some parts are difficult to fit, e.g. the plastic clips on the grass bag are so stiff it took two of us to fit them.

The comb on the side of the mower brushes grass into the blades to ensure you can cut right up to the edge of your lawn, reducing the amount of trimming required.

Longer screws at bottom. Unscrew short ones from red handle, place screw through holes, fit washer and screw on red handle.
