Its a wonderful plug and play easy to use webcam with good HD picture quality and the protective lens cover is a good bonus on the C920s. Much better to use this kind of webcam for professional meetings. Very decent sound too. If you want to use digital zoom, you need to download the Logi Tune app. My only little gripe is that the cable could be longer. I was lucky to get it at a reduced price. Thanks.

solid cheap webcam
Its cheap, it does what it says it will. This is not the webcam if you prize image quality as the resolution is rather low, but if you need something just for a zoom meeting then this is clear enough. The angle is adjustable and the screen clip works fine, the focus sometimes has trouble but thats ok. The light detection is a bit rough if there is extreme lighting; but normaly its fine.

Great camera - I already own one, this was a second one for another PC. Excellent autofocus, and great clarity at high resolution. Microphones are very good also. Definitely recommend.

I have looked into your question for this item Logitech C920S HD Pro Webcam 311/8607 and can see from the manual that the microphone can be switched off.
This can be done:
With the Webcam plugged in, disable the Webcam's Audio Component: - In Device Manager, under "Sound, video and game controllers", find the "HD Pro Webcam C920" entry. - Right-click on "HD Pro Webcam C920" and select "Disable". Confirm any prompts if required.
