About this product

Chamomile ‘Treneague’ (Matricaria chamomilla) is a low-growing, non-flowering perennial with feathery, evergreen foliage that releases an apple scent when crushed. It spreads gradually to form a dense mat approximately 10cm high, making an attractive, low-maintenance alternative to traditional lawns and an effective suppressant. Supplied as 3 x 9cm pots selected by our nursery, plants need occasional trimming in late summer and regular watering after planting. For chamomile lawns, space plants about 10cm apart, avoid heavy foot traffic, and allow at least 12 weeks before walking on the area.
