Seems good
Having only had this oven for a few weeks I haven’t had the opportunity to try out many of the functions. What I have tried seems ok. The worst thing about it is the instruction manual which fails to fully explain which functions work best for various types of cooking. With 8 different function settings it would be helpful if the instructions gave suggestions on temperature settings to use. The only useful part of the manual is entitled ‘Information For Test Institutes’ but it only mentions a few dishes. I don’t want to waste expensive ingredients by using the wrong settings.

Great features and good name
After checking online for an oven with all the features I would need, I settled on AEG bex335011B. Then it was a matter of getting the best price including delivery. Argos was the best deal.

Great new oven
Bought this oven to replace a much more expensive one that has let me down badly. So far this AEG has proved superior in every way. I love the simplicity of the controls and the choices of different cooking modes. I went for one of the less expensive models but have been pleasantly surprised.

Single Oven
Excellent, easy to install, you use your own cable which must be regulated by AEG.

Replacement of an old oven
BEX33501B fan oven works perfectly well for our needs and is a well constructed design. The only disappointment is that it is supplied without a power cable attached - I assume that is to ensure that an electrician is needed to fit a suitably safe cable.

Efficient Oven with lots of functions
Good oven with even heat distribution and lots of functions. Found it to be quiet compared to our old free standing cooker.

So powerful and fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our oven was over 15 years old, knackered. So happy to have this one, so powerful, clean, sleek, silent. Cooks much quicker and even. Can't wait to cook msby more family meals in this!

The best oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this installed in my new kitchen extension. It complemented my white glass kitchen very well. The sleek lines and stylish door were great. In terms of cooking quality it was amazing, no complaints

Hi Jack,
AEG BEX335011B Built In Single Electric Oven - Black:
We do not have the length of the cable as the item needs to be installed by a qualified electrician so they will bring the cable with them.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Yes, the AEG BEX335011B is designed as a built-in oven, which means it can be installed under a counter or in a column cabinet. The installation section of the user manual specifies that it supports under-counter installation, provided the cabinet dimensions meet the required clearances:
Minimum cabinet width: 560 mm
Minimum cabinet height: 550 mm
Depth: Standard built-in depth (usually around 550 mm)
It also requires proper ventilation and securing to the cabinet frame during installation.
Make sure the electrical connection is done according to the manual (rated at 2790 W, 230 V, with a correctly installed shockproof socket) and that the cooling fan has enough space for airflow.
Hey Elly,
I can advise that this built in oven can be fitted under a worktop - with the correct fittings.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Width 600 mm: OK (spec requires 560 mm min).
Height 720 mm: Extra space is fine; use filler panel if needed.
Depth 560 mm: Meets 550 mm min.
Ventilation: Leave at least 20 mm behind and allow airflow above/below (don’t seal extra space).
The AEG BEX335011B built-in oven has the following key dimensions relevant to your installation:
Overall oven width: 594 mm
Required installation compartment width: 560 mm
Depth of installation compartment: 550 mm
Height of installation compartment: 600 mm
🔧 Back Width Consideration
While the front fascia of the oven is 594 mm wide (to overlap the cabinet edges), the body of the oven that fits into the cabinet is designed to fit into a 560 mm wide opening—which matches your current space exactly.
Your existing oven being 540 mm wide means the new one will be a tighter fit, but it is designed to fit snugly into a 560 mm opening, so it should work without modification to the cabinet.
The AEG BEX335011B oven does not feature a soft close door. It has a standard drop-down door with a removable glass panel for easy cleaning
If the cooling fan of your AEG BEX335011B oven stays on continuously, it could be due to several reasons:
Cooling System Design: The fan is designed to stay on until the oven's internal temperature drops sufficiently after use.
Faulty Temperature Sensor: A malfunctioning sensor might be sending incorrect signals, causing the fan to run continuously.
Relay Issues: Problems with the relay that controls the fan could also lead to continuous operation.
Wiring Problems: Damaged or shorted wires can cause the fan to stay on.
To troubleshoot, you can:
Check the oven's manual for specific instructions on fan operation and troubleshooting.
Inspect the temperature sensor and wiring for any visible issues.
Contact AEG customer support for professional assistance.
The AEG BEX335011B oven does not feature a slide & hide door. However, Neff is well-known for their ovens with the slide & hide door feature. Models such as the Neff B57CR22N0B and Neff B47CR32N0B are popular choices
