Just don't bother with AEG
This is a single oven under 3kW and does not come with a cable or plug, despite being relatively low power and can just be plugged into a socket. Website lacks the detail required to make informed decisions, service agents don't have the knowledge when you call and customer service non-existent when you have a problem. Effectively left to sort it out myself and be further out of pocket. Its just lose-lose. Save yourself a load of hassle and opt for Bosch or a real premium brand, not a rebranded Zanussi budget brand with an AEG badge stuck on by Electrolux.

Change from gas.???
Up till now it does what it says on the box and that makes a change.

The oven is amazing!
When I cook thin pork shoulders, it only take around 8-10 minutes, and it’s already cooked! I also baked brownies earlier, and it looked perfect. The air circulation is also very even, so it’s good for any oven job. Oh I also roast a duck in Chinese style…. The duck skin is very crispy and the meat is juicy 👍

Great for the price
Simple to use. Good clean understated looks. Timer very easy to use. I've not had to refer to the user guide at all as this is a simple oven to use. Only minor negatives are the timer buttons aren't the easiest to see and the timer itself isn't as loud as our old oven and not easy to hear from our living room if the tv is on! Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase. At this pricepoint I think its great. The instalation team were excellent. Excellent friendly communication and had the job done in a jiffy! I would certainly recommend buying from AEG and there using their instalation/recycling service. Many thanks!

Good but could be better
This oven ws a replacement for our last AEG multifunction oven that we had for 14 years. We unfortunately couldn't view the exact oven at Currys, but used the brochure to assess it. Qualty of the oven was typical AEG high standard, However the Oven settings and temp settings were not as clear to see as we woud expect. As this was a Built under Oven you had to get quite low and close to make sure you had the correct settings. If this was a built in High level oven then I don't think it would be as much an isse as the information would be at Eye level. (Indicator mark on each dial was just a small groove in the front of the dial, No white marking). The oven also seems to cook hotter than the temperature selected so timing for cooking has to be monitored.

So far so good
Only installed 5 days ago, but so far so good, heats quickly and cooks well, can't really ask for much more, I like the dials press to pop out feature, gives a nice look when not in use

Seems good
Having only had this oven for a few weeks I haven’t had the opportunity to try out many of the functions. What I have tried seems ok. The worst thing about it is the instruction manual which fails to fully explain which functions work best for various types of cooking. With 8 different function settings it would be helpful if the instructions gave suggestions on temperature settings to use. The only useful part of the manual is entitled ‘Information For Test Institutes’ but it only mentions a few dishes. I don’t want to waste expensive ingredients by using the wrong settings.

Great features and good name
After checking online for an oven with all the features I would need, I settled on AEG bex335011B. Then it was a matter of getting the best price including delivery. Argos was the best deal.

Hi Jack,
AEG BEX335011B Built In Single Electric Oven - Black:
We do not have the length of the cable as the item needs to be installed by a qualified electrician so they will bring the cable with them.
Thank you for using Q&A.
BEX335011B is an electric appliance.
Its specifications are available on its page on our website:
https://www.aeg.co.uk/kitchen/cooking/ovens/o...
To answer your question, please specify a gas appliance from the website.
Yes, the AEG BEX335011B is designed as a built-in oven, which means it can be installed under a counter or in a column cabinet. The installation section of the user manual specifies that it supports under-counter installation, provided the cabinet dimensions meet the required clearances:
Minimum cabinet width: 560 mm
Minimum cabinet height: 550 mm
Depth: Standard built-in depth (usually around 550 mm)
It also requires proper ventilation and securing to the cabinet frame during installation.
Make sure the electrical connection is done according to the manual (rated at 2790 W, 230 V, with a correctly installed shockproof socket) and that the cooling fan has enough space for airflow.
Hey Elly,
I can advise that this built in oven can be fitted under a worktop - with the correct fittings.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Width 600 mm: OK (spec requires 560 mm min).
Height 720 mm: Extra space is fine; use filler panel if needed.
Depth 560 mm: Meets 550 mm min.
Ventilation: Leave at least 20 mm behind and allow airflow above/below (don’t seal extra space).
The AEG BEX335011B built-in oven has the following key dimensions relevant to your installation:
Overall oven width: 594 mm
Required installation compartment width: 560 mm
Depth of installation compartment: 550 mm
Height of installation compartment: 600 mm
🔧 Back Width Consideration
While the front fascia of the oven is 594 mm wide (to overlap the cabinet edges), the body of the oven that fits into the cabinet is designed to fit into a 560 mm wide opening—which matches your current space exactly.
Your existing oven being 540 mm wide means the new one will be a tighter fit, but it is designed to fit snugly into a 560 mm opening, so it should work without modification to the cabinet.
